The one thing that binds Ryan Reynolds and many, many other parents around the world into one cozy family, is that he hates “Baby Shark”. With a vengeance, it seems. And when his littlest of the lot, one-year-old baby Betty got addicted to this highly irritating, earworm of a song, Reynolds made a plan.
We won’t lie to you. It is diabolical. But then again, you can’t expect any less from Ryan Reynolds, right? The man who got his mom to trash Hugh Jackman on Twitter?
Here’s the evil plan that parents are loving…
Three Daughters And A Dad
Ryan Reynolds seemed henpecked enough, in a good way, when the only girl in his life was Blake Lively. But now, he has three daughters and the man still cannot believe it, considering he has come from “an all boy” family.
But James (yes, that’s a girl), Inez, and Betty, along with Blake, of course, have made Reynolds’s life livelier, and yes, the pun is intended, of course. Would not have it any other way with Hollywood’s favorite prankster couple. who loves to troll each other, and others…
And go on Yankee dates.
Addiction Needs Strict Action
Now, we’ve all heard the song. over and over again. To the point, it has become a permanent worm in the ear. One just has to mention the word shark, and the whole “Baby Shark” tends to play in our head, as much as we want it to stop.
Ryan Reynolds is just like us. Only, he’s better. Instead of silently suffering in the pain, the man found a quick cure to his one-year-old daughter “Baby Shark Addiction”.
The cure is not pretty but seeing your mama get chased by a shark should do the trick.
Presenting, “The Shallows”…
Fans Are Torn At The Trick
Reynolds shared his pain on social media, writing, “My one-year-old daughter is obsessed with Baby Shark. All day. Every day. There’s only one way to fix this”.
Blake Lively responded with a very tongue-in-cheek comment, “she’s going to love Savages”, a movie where Lively has an open relationship with two marijuana-growing men, and is later tortured for it.
Meanwhile, fans feel it could work but for one thing, “Do you play the shark in your wife’s movie? Cuz that could do it ? ?”.
Another Twitter user wanted more advice, “Yeah that should take care of it, haha. I’ve also got a one-year-old and her obsession is Blue’s clues, any suggestions???”
More Ryan-Sized Humor
So now that we do know how Ryan Reynolds managed to “cure” his daughter’s “addiction”, let’s talk about his upcoming movie, “The Adam Project” and the integrated MCU star cast in it, without them playing their usual roles.
Says Reynolds, deadpan, of course, or should we say Deadpool, “Gamora, Elektra, The Hulk, Deadpool and the kid who’ll eventually play Deadpool when I crawl into a box and turn into a skeleton…”
If that were not funny enough, he went on to poke fun at Mark Ruffalo and his “unchanging size”…
