'Jersey Shore' Star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Breaks His Silence On Domestic Violence Arrest

By Mike Walters

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is breaking his silence on his recent arrest for domestic violence and says he is thankful for all of his "real friends."

The 'Jersey Shore' star addressed the situation on Instagram Monday, saying he takes all "experiences as a lesson" and then goes on to point out he is people who are sticking by him while he is "down and out."

Interestingly, Ronnie doesn't specifically admit or deny he laid a finger on anyone -- including his current girlfriend -- who appears to be defending the reality star following his arrest.

Ronnie's Girlfriend Defends The Reality Star?!

Ronnie's girlfriend, Saffire Matos, took to Instagram slamming "misleading information" circulating about the reality star's arrest.

The lengthy message questions whether she is the actual victim in this case, or what the charges against Ronnie entail. The 'Jersey Shore' star was arrested last week on suspicion of domestic violence.

Interestingly, Matos posted, "Ronnie and I are fine."

Adding, "There is a lot of misleading information floating around out there. With anybody who reached out with concern I appreciate it with all my heart, but everything that's being portrayed out there are not facts."

Reality Star Is Released On $100,000 Bail

"I don't think it's fair that people are using false accusations to gain attention. Please leave Ron and I alone. You don't know what someone is going through at the end of the day. Don't believe everything you hear or read online," she continued.

The Los Angeles Police Department hasn't released details into Ronnie's arrest, but obviously, they believe there was enough evidence to arrest the reality star. He was booked on a Felony charge and released on $100,000 bail.

The case will eventually be turned over to the District Attorney's Office for possible criminal charges.
