Lisa Vanderpump addressed the possibility of starring in the upcoming “Real Housewives: All Stars” series, which was announced by NBCUniversal’s streaming service months ago.
Amid the landings of several other “Real Housewives” stars, Vanderpump found herself responding to a message from Patti Stanger, the former “Millionaire Matchmaker” cast member, who called for her to be cast on the upcoming reality show.
It all started after the Housewives Fanatic fan page revealed the cast lineup on Twitter in a tweet shared over the weekend.
The ‘Real Housewives: All Stars’ Are Living Together In A Villa
“Here are your ‘All Stars’ who depart tomorrow for [one] week in Turks [and] Caicos in a [seven] bedroom villa. Thoughts? Where do you think the drama will lie?” the fan page asked.
A short time later, along with a winking emoji, reporter Christopher Rogers teased the reportedly impending addition of an eighth cast member, whose name he did not reveal.
Lisa Vanderpump Won’t Consider A Role
“I hear there will be a surprise 8th person added halfway through — I can’t name names, but it’s someone who fans have been desperately wanting to see return to one of the original franchises,” he wrote in a tweet of his own.
“My pick is [Lisa Vanderpump]. We have missed her too much!” Stanger replied.
But Vanderpump wasn’t on board and told Stanger there was “not a chance” that she would take part in the series.
In the moments that followed, Vanderpump’s fans and followers weighted in.
Lisa Vanderpump’s Fans Don’t Blame Her For Avoiding The Series
“I don’t blame you & I haven’t watched ‘RHOBH’ since evil Kyle smeared your name. They’re disgusting [and] you’re better off without that toxicity in your life,” one person said.
“Then make another show about your life with a different company!! Going to your bar in Vegas [Caesar’s Palace] in May! Can’t wait!” wrote another.
“Lisa please,” begged a third.
In a report share by The Sun, it was noted that while there were supposed to be a number of other women included in the “Real Housewives: All Stars” cast, production had to cut down the cast size.
The Eighth Cast Member Has Not Yet Been Named
“The cast size had to be cut down to seven, as the largest-sized house the show could book is seven bedrooms due to Covid protocols,” the insider told The Sun. “An 8th person is going to be added halfway, and will be teased as some sort of twist.”
“The entire cast will meet in Atlanta and everyone will fly out from there to Turks & Caicos together,” the source continued. “This is not the ideal cast that Bravo wanted but due to scheduling conflicts with current seasons filming and Covid, everyone is just excited they are going through with this. It’s planned to be four to six episodes, but that may change depending on the footage.”
