“Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s ex, Jen Harley, hit the road from Las Vegas to L.A. and made sure her daughter was safe in the scary moments immediately following the reality star’s latest arrest for felony domestic violence.
Ronnie was released from jail shortly after 7 PM on Thursday evening following an incident that placed him under arrest on suspicion of domestic violence. At the same time, Harley was on her way to pick up the 3-year-old daughter the ex-couple shares, Ariana.
Jen Harley shared photos on her IG stories of herself making the trek from Vegas to Los Angeles, which takes a little over 4 hours. She wrote that this would be the “last” time she would be making that drive … which implies that she may be moving towards a permanent custody situation in the wake of Ronnie’s latest brush with law enforcement.
Later in the evening, Harley posted an updated photo (above) while clutching Ariana to her chest:
“Can’t drive home like this but I’ll hold her as long as she needs it,” she captioned the emotional photo.
Mom and daughter eventually made it back home to Las Vegas, as Jen Harley shared another photo of the two sleeping in bed … Ariana’s little foot wedged snugly underneath the reality star’s chin.
As we reported, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was taken into custody Thursday on suspicion of felony domestic violence, but it is unclear who was the alleged victim. At the time, a source close to the situation made it clear Ariana was safe and unharmed, which could leave Ronnie’s current girlfriend as the one involved.
As of this posting, Ronnie has not made any public comments or explained the situation publicly, and his legal team has been quiet since their initial statement after his arrest.
“We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate,” Ronnie’s lawyers told the media in the moments after news broke of his arrest.
The controversial “Jersey Shore” cast member is still currently on probation over a violent arrest involving Jen Harley back in 2019, and the reality star is very much in danger of a judge finding him in violation over his current legal situation.
