“Jersey Shore” star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has once again found himself under arrest for his involvement in a domestic violence situation.
The incident, which went down Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles, does not have many details, but US Weekly did confirm Ronnie was taken into custody by the LAPD and is currently being booked for felony domestic violence. The latest arrest could be extremely bad news for Ronnie as he is already on probation for a horrific domestic violence incident involving his ex, Jenn Harley, stemming from 2019.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Inmate Information Center, Ronnie was taken into custody just before noon and booked around 2:15 PM.
As we reported, he is being charged with felony domestic violence and his bail is currently set at $100,000.
As of this posting, Ronnie remains in custody at the LAPD jail in Van Nuys.
According to multiple reports, the 3-year-old daughter, Ariana, who Ronnie Ortiz-Magro shares with his ex, Jenn Harley, was present at the time of the domestic violence incident, but she is reportedly safe and with a relative while her mother travels from Las Vegas to pick her up. It’s unclear if Ariana was hurt at all during the incident, or whether the victim was Ronnie’s current girlfriend, Saffire Matos.
In response to the arrest, Ronnie’s attorney is telling the media, “We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate.”
As we reported, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested back in 2019 during a terrifying incident with Jenn Harley, who accused the reality star of kidnapping their daughter before taking off down the street with a knife.
Per the police audio, authorities were worried for the safety of the baby while dealing with Ronnie, who was eventually subdued with a taser before being taken into custody.
After the ordeal, Ronnie ended up with a slap on the wrist … cutting a plea deal for 36 months probation.
