Demi Lovato taking to social media and trying to drag a local frozen yogurt shop for selling sugar-free treats is only triggering an avalanche of press and sales for the shop as loyal customers from around Los Angeles have shown up to show support and spend cash.

The support for Los Angeles-based The Big Chill frozen yogurt shop was sprinkled throughout social media in the day following "Dancing With the Devil" star's tirade against the locally-owned business for claiming their sugar-free yogurt options were "triggering" for those with eating disorders.

Monday was a busy day for The Bigg Chill as loyal yogurt lovers stopped by to show support and grab a frosty treat during a hot sunny day in L.A.

"When @ddlovato attacks your local neighborhood yogurt shop, you fight back with sugar free yogurt for the whole family," one patron wrote on Instagram while proudly holding up his bag and hashtagging his post, #leaveouryogurtalone.

"Demi Lovato chose to drag this wonderful small business for no good reason. PLEASE join me in supporting The Bigg Chill & eating their ice cream sammys," another customer wrote on behalf of their furry friend.

In the wake of the backlash against Demi Lovato for her random attack on a small business, the pop star took to social media on Monday and made a half-assed apology for her comments being "misconstrued."

"I’m genuinely sorry that people took it the wrong way. I just get really passionate," Lovato said in a video posted to her Instagram page.

The apology hasn't been received well by many, including "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin.

"Another loud mouth celebrity using their power to try to destroy a small business. (One with the best yogurt in la by the way) she says she felt triggered by the diet options they offered. Well, stay home, but don’t fu@k with our yogurt," Ellin passionately wrote on social media.
