The new Stone Cold Steve Austin documentary is supposed to be really great... and not just because Stone Cold said so! The A&E biography earned high praise from Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and he should know, considering he lived it.

The "Black Adam" actor took to social media ahead of the documentary's premiere on Sunday, April 18. "I watched this doc with real bias here because @steveaustinbsr is like a brother to me and I wanted it to be GREAT," The Rock wrote, "but truthfully this is one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen."

The muscular actor praised Steve for setting a stellar example for him in the WWE. "He was a HUGE INFLUENCE on my career and our legendary feud we went on to become the biggest box office draw pro wrestling has ever seen," Johnson continued. "And he went on to become the one man to ignite and lead the greatest era in pro wrestling history."

The Rock and Stone Cold battled three times during WrestleMania, but the most notable was their match at WrestleMania XIX on March 30, 2003. Johnson performed three Rock Bottoms on Austin to win the match. It was Stone Cold's last match before he retired due to years of injuries.

"Biography: Stone Cold Steve Austin" premieres at 8/7C 5/Pacific on A&E.

You won't see Stone Cold or The Rock in the ring anytime soon, but the two friends are going head to head in the alcohol industry. Granted Austin has a beer company and Johnson is in the Tequila business. The Rock launched Teremana Tequila earlier this year, and Stone Cold shared a taste of what's to come with his Steve Austin's Broken Skull IPA over the weekend. "Men at work. Doing research and development with my buddy Rob Croxhall of @esbcbrews. Drinking... Working on our next bad a-- beer. Coming to market ASAP. Stay tuned with all of our beer info by following @brokenskullbeer," he captioned his pic (seen above) before calling it the "Best beer in America."
