This is why her sudden death has shook the internet and caused an outcry among her fans all over the world. The “Harry Potter” actress, who had fought hard and well against cancer for a while, died “peacefully” in her home at age 52.
A tweet from her husband, Damian Lewis, confirmed that she was surrounded by those she loved the most. She is survived by a husband and two beautiful kids.

McCrory’s life story is like most actors in the movie industry. She was born to a Welsh mother, Ann and a Glasgow diplomat, Iain McCrory in August 17, 1968.
She was born and bred in Paddington, London and is the eldest of three kids.
She attended Queenswood School, situated near Hatfield, Hertfordshire. After school, she went to live in Italy for 12 months.
Upon her return to England, McCrory was enticed with acting and decided to pursue the career by becoming a student at the Drama Centre in London. It did not take too long fir her to get a hang of it and move on into the professional acting world.

McCrory was married to actor, Damian Lewis for about 14 years from July 2007 to April 2021. Anyone who’s knew the actress, knew that she loved life and the people in it.

In the post, he mentioned that McCrory succumbed after an ”heroic battle” with cancer. She was also surrounded by her family and loved ones in her last moment.
The post which has over 22k retweets, garnered thousands of comments from sympathetic fans.
