Prince Harry and his brother Prince William will NOT walk together at their grandfather Prince Philip's funeral this weekend -- but, the palace is saying it's not exactly what you think.

According to multiple reports, Buckingham Palace released details of Philip's upcoming funeral at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, and the information included the procession and those who will be in attendance.

The list is clear, the two Royal brothers will not be walking side by side, and as you know, Meghan Markle did not even make the trip to England.

According to the Royal Family's release, William and Harry will both join other family members walking behind their grandfather's coffin, BUT their cousin -- Peter Phillips (the son of Princess Anne), is set to walk between them.

In the second procession into the chapel, Prince William will walk with Peter and behind them will be Prince Harry and David Armstrong-Jones, the son of Prince Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones.

Plus, once the family is inside the chapel, everyone will be wearing masks and seated six feet apart, following COVID-19 guidelines.

According to the Palace, the split of the two brothers is NOT related to the accusations made by Prince Harry's wife -- including racism amongst Royal Family members. Instead, they claim the move was "a practical change rather than sending a signal."

It continued, "This is a funeral and we are not going to be drawn into perceptions of drama. The arrangements have been agreed and represent Her Majesty's wishes."

As we reported, Prince Harry returned to England for the first time in over a year after giving up his Royal duties and moving to the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle.

Apparently, Prince Harry HAS spoken to his father and brother -- but, Gayle King says "The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation."

As for the other attendees, the Palace says only 30 people will be allowed inside the ceremony -- which will include all four of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth's children (Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.)

Others include, "Charles's wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Anne's husband Timothy Laurence and Edward's wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex."

The rest of the attendees will include Prince Philip's personal staff and other extended family members.
