Jeannie Mai is hanging around her bathroom in a bodycon minidress and proving that facing fears full-on is best. The 42-year-old TV host and “Dancing With the Stars” alum – who more than faced her fears with her 2020 epiglottis surgery – updated her Instagram earlier this week with a little promo and a little positivity. Jeannie, who fronts both Fabletics and skincare brand Olay, was promoting the latter and its “Fearless In My Skin” campaign. See how she did it below.
Scroll for the photo. It comes as Jeannie celebrates what may be the most joyous day of her life, with the star “so proud fo be finally married” as she ties the knot with musician Jeezy.
The photo, a stunning one, showed the “How Do I Look?” star posing with crossed legs and hopped up on a bathroom counter. The luxurious setting, offering a mirror view as Mai wore a curve-hugging and super-tight black mini-dress with one sleeve, showcased an array of Olay products.
Shooting the camera a direct gaze and doing it via the wall mirror beside her, Jeannie announced her paid partnership status, then tapping into the brand’s new campaign with her own take.
“Some people will tell you that to be “fearless”, you’ve got to forget your fears. I disagree. I think you’ve gotta be aware of your fears. Admit you have them, be willing to make mistakes, and embrace struggle,” she wrote, adding that looking back, “I’m most proud of myself when I faced my own fears.” See more after the shot.
Mai continued that she wa proud to join Olay Body and share how “I feel fearless in my own skin.” Celebrities do not update the ‘Gram for free these days, with the post abiding by the platform’s #ad rule. Pay on Instagram correlates with following, and experts at Vox have offered $$$ insight.
“Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post!”
Jeannie has 2.4 million Instagram followers. More photos below.
Topping comments is a reply from Jeannie’s new husband. Jeezy, real name Jay Wayne Jenkins, who married Mai in Atlanta last month, swooped in to write: “Mrs. Jenkins” for a total 900 likes.
Speaking on “The Real” this week, Jeannie revealed: “So today, actually with my EP Rachel, I officially signed my name for the first time with Jenkins to it, so that we can put it into the show credit that you see today,” adding: “That was the first time I’ve ever signed it, in its official way, so I’m so proud to finally be Mrs. Jenkins!”
