As we reported, DMX passed away after spending several days on life support in a New York hospital.
Earlier this week, the rapper was rushed to the hospital after collapsing in his home following a drug overdose and subsequent massive heart attack. X was placed on life support after having to be revived on three separate occasions by first responders.
In the past 24 hours, doctors were forced to advise the family that he had minimal critical brain function, and they made the tough decision to pull him off the life support. Thousands showed up to the hospital, taking part in a vigil for the rapper.
