Rachel Uchitel is finally speaking out about the recent rumors suggesting she could soon join the cast of “The Real Housewives of New York City.”
After gaining fame years ago after engaging in an affair with Tiger Woods, who was married to Elin Nordegren at the time, Uchitel appeared on the “Behind the Velvet Rope With David Yontef” podcast, where she admitted that she wouldn’t be opposed to joining the Bravo reality series because she’d love to show viewers who she truly is.

After years of being known as one of the many mistresses of Woods, Uchitel admitted that appearing on “The Real Housewives of New York City” would actually be a great opportunity for her to re-establish herself as a public figure.
“I would be honored to be on a show like that because I’m happy for the world to judge me based on who I am,” Uchitel explained to Yontef, as revealed by a report from Extra TV on Monday, April 5.

“People like to pretend that they know me. Of course, I’d like the opportunity for people to know the real me,” Uchitel continued.
Although Uchitel has faced rumors of a potentially upcoming role on the Bravo reality show, she confirmed to Yontef that she’s never actually contacted the series’ producers in hopes of being brought aboard.
“It’s not like I’m asking to be on the show. I’m not doing that at all. I’m just clarifying. If they were to ask me on the show, it’s not like I would play hard to get,” Uchitel shared.

“I wanted to move into the second act of my life,” Uchitel explained of why she finally broke her silence.
“It felt like closure to be able to like speak it… When you’re shackled for that long and in the absence of truth, people just make up whatever they want to make up,” she added.
