Kaley Cuoco was pretty in pink as she celebrated a monumental moment in her career. For the first time ever, “The Flight Attendant” star is nominated for a Screen Actor’s Guild Award on her own merit, as she is up for Best TV Comedy Actress for the HBO Max series. Cuoco has been nominated for SAG Awards in the past, but it was always a group nomination as part of “The Big Bang Theory.”
To celebrate the unconventional awards this year, Cuoco showed off her look with some shots in her backyard.
Sharing some killer shots of herself wearing a pink gown from Prabal Gurung, Kaley Cuoco was seen looking stoic while shooting near her pool. Easter Sunday was an exceptionally warm day in Southern California, and the star was soaking up the poolside vibes with her look.
“What an honor to be recognized alongside my amazing cast and crew @flightattendantonmax by @sagawards!” Cuoco captioned her series of photos.
She added, “This dream has always been in the back of my mind , but for it to happen feels like I’m still in that dream . I’m truly humbled by this experience… my pink moment courtesy of @prabalgurung @louboutinworld @messikajewelry ? thank you dream team!!”
While Kaley Cuoco is hopeful for the big awards, which were actually pre-taped, she’s going to be up against some stiff competition, including “Schitt’s Creek” stars Catherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy. Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are also nominated in the same category for their leading roles in “Dead To Me.”
The 27th Annual SAG Awards are set to air Easter Sunday, April 4 after multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The show is also going to be a bit different this year to ensure proper safety measures are taken.
Kaley Cuoco was over the moon back in February when she learned of the nomination for “The Flight Attendant.”
“Never in my life could I imagine this moment. Thank you to my peers @sagawards !! This is Beyond!” she wrote at the time on Instagram.
Cuoco, who was also nominated as part of the ensemble for Best TV Comedy Cast, added that she was “stunned.”
“We are truly stunned and humbled!” she wrote.
