Dove Cameron Reveals She Got A 'Noise Complaint' After The Release Of 'Lazy Baby'

By Jeff Mazzeo

Dove Cameron has resorted to wearing headphones 24/7!

The actress/singer shared a stunning selfie video on Sunday, April 4, and revealed that she received a noise complaint. She informed fans of the complaint two days after the release of her new song, "Lazy Baby." Did she annoy her neighbors by listening to the song on repeat during the early hours of the morning? We may never know... but we do know that Dove stays up late and listens to tunes. In fact, she shared her "noise complaint" selfie, which featured her chic black ear pods shortly after midnight.

Who's Complaining?

Cameron posed in a tiny white tank and white sweat pants as she teased her hair and flaunted her headphones. "Got a noise complaint so it's headphones 24/7 now," she sarcastically wrote across her sultry video. She didn't go into further details, but clearly, she's referring to one of her neighbors since she mentioned it while in her bathroom.

We can only imagine how many times she listened to "Lazy Baby" (we've watched the video 10 times) before a neighbor decided that enough was enough. Side note: Dove recently revealed that she played the tune for her ex, Thomas Doherty before it was publicly released.

Keeping The 'Powerpuff Secret'

In addition to celebrating her new song, she is also celebrating landing the iconic role of Bubbles in director Diablo Cody's "Powerpuff Girls" movie. However, she admitted to Nylon that she had trouble keeping the secret after she found out.

“After I got cast, I had to wait a week before the news came out, which was an excruciating week because I'm such a fan of the cartoon. It was so hard not to talk about it,” she told the publication. “I’m so excited to be in jeans and a little blue tank top and then levitate and zoom out of a window. Please. Fighting monsters? But also specifically getting to play the Powerpuff Girls. I grew up without cable and I even knew what the Powerpuff Girls were. I'm a freak for them.”

“I can't tell you too much about it, but it is so exactly what you would want. It's mental,” she said about the director's vision.
