Singer Britney Spears may be back from Mexico… or is she?
The “Toxic” singer took to Instagram on Friday to let her followers know that she was off on “another excursion” in the middle of the ocean along with a long caption that took aim at those who "say mean things" about her dancing videos on social media.
Britney Spears Is Off On Another Adventure
On Friday, the “Oops!... I Did It Again” singer took to Instagram to share a video of herself on a boat on the middle of the ocean.
“Another excursion but this time a smaller boat !!! Honestly, I like the smaller one way better,” she wrote in the caption. However, she did not spend a lot of time talking about her vacation. Instead, she addressed a deleted dancing video that received many critical comments from her followers.
Britney Explains Why She Deleted Her Latest Dancing Video
Fans know that the “Circus” singer loves to dance, but she took the last one down because of the negative comments that she received.
“I took the video of myself dancing down because so many people said so many mean things... if they only knew how severe my sadness is,” she wrote. “It is a f-cking miracle from God that I played and danced, period. It is insane!!!”
Britney Spears Almost Skipped Her Vacation Due To The Negativity
The “Crossroads” actress went on to say that she almost skipped out on her vacation due to the negativity, but felt better once she was in the ocean.
“I didn’t think I was gonna go at all I was that sad... but immediately I saw the ocean, the small little hotel that looks like an apartment, and the breakfast table inside the pool !!!” she wrote. “I’m such a strange cookie I guess most artists are a little weird, but I immediately got busy and played with dark music and Winehouse with black lace and red bottoms !!! I forgot I did any of that and when I got home last night and was like WTF !!!”
“I took all my work down then of course I looked through my phone and was like D-mn, there’s so much I haven’t even shown but it saddens me people say mean things about me,” she added.
Britney Wants People To ‘F-ck Off’ If They Don’t Like Her Dancing!
The pop star followed up her comments with frustration with the way she is being discussed online. “I’m so d-mn sick of people saying they are concerned and if you don’t like the way I move, f-ck off and don’t watch it !!!” she continued before going on to discuss her recent meals.
“After my week of fasting, I sat down to finally have my bacon cheeseburger with a bun that’s so high it looked like a pie and right when I cut it in half right down the middle I saw the white Swiss cheese and my mouth watered,” she revealed. And then when the bacon, which is never chewy always crispy, hits my tongue and the meat !!! Food gives me a high, like feeling 6 years old because food is god, especially if you fast like me. It’s honestly better than sex !!!”
Britney Spears Is 'Looking To Date' Again
The social media sensation is ready to dip her toes back in the dating pool following her divorce from actor Sam Asghari. The "Special Ops: Lioness" actor filed for divorce in August 2023, only 14 months into their marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" for the split. The two met on the set of her "Slumber Party" music video in 2016, while Britney was still in the middle of her court-ordered conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021.
Although the Princess of Pop has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with her former housekeeper, Paul Richard Soliz, a source told Us Weekly that Britney is a “hopeless romantic” and is still ready for love.
The insider said that the “Baby One More Time” singer “will always be a hopeless romantic” and “loves having a partner” so she is “looking to date.”
Sam, meanwhile, has recently started dating real estate agent Brooke Irvine. A source told the publication that this is the former personal trainer’s first relationship since the divorce and he is “really happy.”
