Bella Thorne is certainly a trendsetter, but this time she is claiming credit for the next big nail style!
The “Phantom” writer and director showed off her new set on Wednesday, March 31… and by showing off, we mean staked her claim to be the next trend’s innovator. Bella shared images of the elaborate design that featured Swarovski crystals on top and underneath her long nails. Thorne, who previously claimed credit for starting the celebrity OnlyFans craze, documented the claws so her followers would know the truth when it catches on. Check out the interesting set below!
Bella made it crystal clear that she is taking credit. “When everyone starts putting Swarovski crystals underneath their nails just know who did it first,” she wrote across a view of the backside of her claws. Of course, the actress made sure to tag the talented nail artist, @nailsby_sheila, who was responsible for the groundbreaking design.
Thorne’s green nails had dozens of colorful Swarovski crystals on top as well and even featured a mini crystal-encrusted wristwatch on one of her nails.
Interestingly enough, Thorne claimed credit for the quick run of celebrities that joined OnlyFans at the end of 2020. She took to her Instagram story after the fact to try to get some credit for the trend. “Legit everyone in my news feed following in my footsteps. But when I was getting heat y’all were scared,” she wrote at the time.
Thorne joined the risque site back in August and charged $20 for a month-long subscription. The actress told the Los Angeles Times that she made $2 million in the first week. There was a little backlash when her content didn’t fit a small segment of fans’ expectations.
In the months following, several other celebrities like Tyga and DJ Khaled followed suit and made accounts with the platform.
The multitalented star can now add successful recording artist to her already long resume! Bella celebrated the successful debut of her new song and video, “Phantom.” “its outttt ?,” she wrote on Instagram, “thank u guys for loving Phantom so much already!!!” Thorne encouraged her diehard fans to help get her song to number 1 on iTunes. She promised to release the video she wrote, directed, and starred in early. “The video is insane, so excited to show you. Let’s make it happen!!” she wrote.
