Katharine Mcphee Foster is one hot mama… and she’s damn proud of it!
The 37-year-old actress showed off her fit figure on Tuesday, March 30. Katharine shared some stunning selfies to her IG story and announced that she is embracing her curves and body. Her amazing snaps come just five weeks after her husband, David Foster, and she welcomed their son Rennie and she looks fantastic! “Loving my curves because my baby gave them to me,” she captioned one pic. She is definitely getting ready for swimsuit season!
There’s no selfie like a bathroom selfie! Katharine posed in a brown high-waisted bikini with her phone in one hand and the other proudly placed on her hip. The hot mama accessorized with gold earrings and dark shades.
McPhee previously spoke about not putting pressure on herself after giving birth in late February. “I thought I would have this pressure [to bounce back] but I’ve just been so grateful and happy that I’ve had a healthy baby and I’ve felt really good, emotionally and physically,” she told PEOPLE earlier this month. “I’m so happy that I don’t have this crazy pressure yet to fit into whatever jeans I have in my closet.”
Katharine gave birth to Rennie in late February; PEOPLE were the first to report the news. McPhee and Foster married in June 2019 after first meeting in 2006 when the musical legend mentored Katharine and others on “American Idol.” Rennie is the sixth kid for David (the first boy) and Katharine’s first.
McPhee admitted that Foster was annoyed when she accidentally said their son’s name on tv. She appeared on “The Today Show” and revealed that the name was Rennie and that it is an old Foster family name. David was “annoyed” that she let the name slip so publicly. “My husband was kind of annoyed,” Katharine confessed on SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show.” “I said, ‘What was I supposed to say [when asked]?’ Nothing?”
“We don’t want to be, like, that pretentious over the name,” she continued but said that she understood where her hubby was coming from. “It’s the only kind of thing you can hold onto that feels private.”
