While chatting with the Bravo Insider on Monday, March 29, the “Vanderpump Rules” star opened up about her “supportive” partner before revealing the parenting advice he gave her ahead of their daughter’s upcoming birth.
After first confirming that she and Davies moved in together amid the coronavirus quarantine, Shay said the time they spent together “was amazing.”
Brock Davies ‘Challenges’ Scheana Shay
“In that time, we got pregnant, we unfortunately had a miscarriage, and then we got pregnant again [which she confirmed back in October]. And he’s just been so amazing,” Shay said of Davies. “He’s so supportive. But he also doesn’t put up with my sh*t. And he challenges me. And he pushes me. And I’ve never really had that before.”
Shay confirmed her relationship with Davies in November 2019 and shared her pregnancy news with her fans and followers on Instagram in October 2020.
Scheana Shay Is Used To Dating ‘Passive’ Men
Looking back at her past relationships, Shay admitted that she’s used to dating men who are much different than Davies.
“I’m used to being with someone more passive, who kind of bows down and lets me take the reins. And he’s very much a type-A personality like myself. So we definitely butt heads at times, but in the best way possible. ‘Cause I know every time I get annoyed with him pushing me, he’s doing it because he just wants me to be the best version of myself,” Shay explained.
Brock Davies Encourages Scheana Shay To Stay Calm
As for the advice Davies has been giving her as they prepare for their daughter’s arrival next month, Shay said Davies wants her to stay calm and not “freak out.”
“Just to not stress myself out all the time. He’s like, ‘It’s a kid. We’re gonna be fine. She’s gonna be all right. You don’t need to freak out over every little thing.’ And I’m like, I don’t think I will. But then I think I will at the same time,” she admitted.
Scheana Shay Is Looking Forward To Starting A Family
“I’m terrified of something happening to her already, and she’s still safe inside of me,” Shay added. “So I just need to stay calm, know that this isn’t his first rodeo. We have my family [in L.A.]. And it’s all gonna work out.”
A ninth season of “Vanderpump Rules” has not yet been confirmed by Bravo but with SUR Restaurant, where the series is filmed, having re-opened weeks ago, fans are anticipating that production on the new episodes will begin sometime in the coming weeks.
