Amber Heard is taking a victory lap after a court in the UK upheld a ruling in a case between Johnny Depp and a tabloid that labeled the "Pirates of the Carribean" star a "wife beater."

The "Aquaman" star took to Instagram on Sunday afternoon, days after Depp's appeal was denied, and rehashed some old drama with a set of photos of the star wearing a dress during an infamous incident 4 years ago. In celebration, it appears Heard has once again broken out the dress to send a clear message to her ex-husband.

Remember This Dress?

Breaking the taboo of repeating an outfit for an A-list star, Amber Heard is making a big statement in her decision to repeat one of her looks.

"One dress, four years apart. Sometimes it’s important to wear the same thing twice," Heard captioned the photo of herself (below) leaving the L.A. County Courthouse back in 2016 after she had filed a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp.

More importantly than the dress, the photo in 2016 shows Heard with what appears to be a nasty bruise above her right eye.

The second photo in Heard's post showed her wearing the dress and linking arms with her legal team, clearly soaking in the victories they have been stacking up against the former "Fantastic Beasts" star.

The bruise Amber Heard allegedly sustained during a heated argument with her then-husband, Johnny Depp, had come under intense scrutiny during the couple's contentious divorce. Depp and his legal team had adamantly believed Heard fabricated the bruise on her face before appearing at the courthouse in what was expected to be a media frenzy.

The Next Battle

As we previously reported, a judge in the UK denied Johnny Depp's appeal in a case that ruled with The Sun over an article they had written calling the actor a "wife beater." The main argument in Depp's appeal had to do with proving Amber Heard as a non-credible witness, a move that ultimately failed.

After the decision was made public, Depp's legal team released a statement making it clear they are now focused on fighting Heard in the next legal battle, which will take place in the U.S.
