Lil Nas X has always been known to make headlines for very interesting reasons, ever since he became a star in the spring of 2019 with his chart-topping “Old Town Road” single with Billy Ray Cyrus. The latest comes after the release of his new “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” single which was released a few days ago. The record overall sounds like another hit for Nas X but the music video is what has had the Internet in a huge frenzy.
Nas X Twerks On Satan In ‘Montero’ Music Video
One of the biggest eyebrow-raising moments in the “Montero” music video was when Nas X was seen twerking on Satan. Many wondered why this was the case as it seemed disturbing to others but at the same time, Nas X supporters feel that this was simply trolling people who disrespect him over his sexual orientation. Nas X came out as gay in 2019 and has received mostly overwhelming support since then. He then took to Twitter to shut down critics over the “Montero” record.
There was no system involved. I made the decision to create the music video. I am an adult. I am not gonna spend my entire career trying to cater to your children. That is your job.”
Nas X Is Also Releasing Nike Air Max ‘Satan Shoes’
Nas X isnt’ slowing down at all in pushing the “Montero” single along with the visuals for it. On Monday, he is releasing his Nike Air Max ’97 “Satan Shoes,” in partnership with MSCHF. This features an all-black and red colorway with pentagram emblems on the front of the sneakers along with a Luke 10:18 verse on the side. One drop of human blood is also said to be on the sole of one of the sneakers. These will be available on March 29 for $1,018 as only 666 pairs are available.

Social Media Is Stunned To Hear These Shoes Are Being Sold
Once news broke on early Sunday that these Nike “Satan Shoes” by Nas X would be sold, it instantly went viral for the obvious reasons. Many were surprised at how much the shoes cost, why the blood is included at the soles of the shoes, and why the concept of “Satan Shoes” are being released, especially with Nike. Now, Nas X is showing why he isn’t bothered at all.
Everyone talking about the satanic part of this, but I’m more curious as to where they got the blood 🩸🤔

Nas X Tricks People Into Thinking He Apologized For Releasing These Shoes
Nas X took to his YouTube account on Sunday as he led many to believe that he would be apologizing for putting out these Nike “Satan Shoes.” He started off by saying “Ok guys, I see everybody’s been talking about this shoe and I just wanted to come forward and say…” and from that point, the “Montero” music video begins to start playing the scenes where he is with Satan. The Montero promotion has been very controversial but in the end, it may be a top five record on the Billboard Hot 100 chart next week.
