Jessica Simpson is opening up, quite literally while flaunting her killer thigh gap. The 40-year-old actress, singer, and “Open Book” author is currently big-time promoting the paperback edition of her 2020-released memoir, with the book now coming complete with a brand new journal segment on her divorce from Nick Lachey. Jessica, who yesterday appeared on both “Good Morning America” and “Live! With Kelly and Ryan,” took to Instagram last night with stunning promo shots showing her latest “Open Book Looks.” Check them out below.
Scroll for the photos. They come as Jessica marks just over one year since the release of her best-selling memoir, one that documents her childhood sexual abuse, resulting pills and alcohol addiction, former marriage, and recovery. The blonde bombshell was looking red hot in a series of snaps shared Tuesday, with it all proving a very classy affair as Jessica rocked high-end designer brands, also flaunting the 100 pounds she dropped in 2019.
Jessica went hell for leather, she booted up, and all this as she opens up.
Jessica’s opening shot came as a tight pants one. The clothing designer was in flared and skin-tight gray pants paired with a hot red, button detail, and collared shirt from Kardashian-adored designer Balmain. Simpson also tagged Safiyaa and luxury brand Balenciaga as she flaunted her toned legs, tiny waist, and thigh gap.
Quick to follow were shots of Jessica in sexy black leather pants and a hot pink top, with brands Yves Saint Laurent and Tom Ford tagged here. See her weight loss below!
Jessica, who marked the paperback release with throwback footage of her headline-making book tour, revealed what the new edition will bring.
“Today the Open Book paperback edition comes out and I have added a new introduction and some very personal journal entries that will show you a little bit about why journaling has been so important to me throughout my life,” she wrote, adding that writing had been a “haven” for her. Jessica, whose book experienced a massive spike in sales during the first wave of COVID, made sure to reach out to fans in her post. The “Dukes of Hazzard” star added:
“Since the book has been out in the world, we have all been handed unexpected challenges but here we are- blessed with today, inside out, still moving forward, still in this together. I hope you’ll continue to share your truths with me, and I vow to do the same.”
