Lil Yachty has been one of the most popular rappers in the industry since 2017 and has been fairly established. He is four albums in as he’s been very consistent as well. One fan recently decided to poke fun at Yachty in a viral video on TikTok where Yachty was posted on there and seen sleeping on a commercial flight. The caption read that Yachty was “caught lacking.” Now, the Atlanta native is responding to this very unusual move by the TikTok user.
Yachty Says He Doesn’t Need To Spend So Much Money On Private Jets
Yachty explained that he felt that this person was weird for making this video on TikTok. He also added that he’s been flying private since he was a teenager. Yachty even emphasized that he’s at the point where he doesn’t want to spend so much money on private jets when he doesn’t need to.
This is weird as fuck. Why do y’all do this? Am I trippin’? I know y’all be thinkin’ I’m tripping right now… Is this not weird? I was doing private jets since I was 18 or 19. Trust me, I can do a f*ckin’ private jet. Why would I spend 10 times the money if I don’t have to? It’s crazy.”
Yachty Released His Fourth Album In 2020
In May of last year, Yachty also delivered his “Lil Boat 3” album. This was led by the hit single, “Oprah’s Bank Account” feat. DaBaby and Drake. Other singles included were “Split/Whole Time” and “Coffin.” Lil Boat 3 ended up debuting at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 chart. 27 tracks were available in total, which includes the deluxe edition. Other artist appearances included Lil Keed, Lil Durk, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky, and Tyler, The Creator, Future, and more.
Yachty Was Sued By Fan For Assault Last Year
Legal woes started to hit Yachty last October, though. According to TMZ, he and his crew reportedly assaulted a fan. This was Jimmy Quivac as he claimed that he was assaulted at the Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles December 2019 while on his way to a Juice WRLD tribute. Quivac was trying to get into the LA Coliseum and things got very crowded. From that point, Yachty started the fight by throwing a punch. He was soon stomped on by Yachty’s crew. The lawsuit is for assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Yachty claimed that he was shoved first by Quivac.
Yachty Recently Blasted DJ Vlad In New Interview
Yachty is also trending this week for a new interview he did with the “Million Dollaz Worth Of Game” podcast. He explained how he doesn’t do many interviews anymore and that’s because of people like DJ Vlad, who flip the words that rappers give replies to.
“It’s been a minute since I did an interview,” said Yachty. “I hate a lot of interviews because they always twist like—Vlad for instance, he’s a b*tch—I hate n*ggas like him because they take your words and they twist it… Vlad’s a b*tch and he’s a federal agent.”
