Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman is literally all balls as she squats down for a stunning shot bringing more than just the Gold Medal body. The 26-year-old former athlete just announced her brand new OFFLINE collaboration with clothing retailer Aerie, with photos promoting the new merch shared both to the brand’s Instagram and with Aly’s 2.1 million followers. Including everything from bright swimwear to matching sets, the range showcased even featured the gymnast’s blue-eyed dog Mylo. Check out the action below.
Scroll for the photos. They come as Aly, who also fronts Amazon and Silk Milk, takes her flexible skill-set into a designer one, with her new collab inspired by her love of animals. Aly, best known for being the 2012 “Fierce Five” and 2016 “Final Five” captain, was photographed in a series of indoor snaps showing off the sporty apparel.
One image showed the brunette beauty all stripped down to a skimpy tennis-effect dress and little shorts, with Aly also appearing in two-toned leggings and a crop top –this is where it got ballsy.
Enjoying a plant-filled setting – Aly is hugely into gardening and even listed seedlings as one of the six things she can’t “live without” – Raisman was seen barefoot and squatting down while holding two tennis balls to entertain her 2020-acquired pooch.
As to the outfit, it was a winner, with Aly showcasing a cream-and-black and loud-print leggings and crop top set, also wearing her hair up in a wavy ponytail. Mylo didn’t seem too interested, but fans are. See the photo below.
Aerie’s OFFLINE collection is reaching out and paying it forward via its proceeds to Darkness to Light, an organization helping adults fight child sex abuse. Aly, herself stating she was victim in the USA Gymnastics sex scandal, has chosen a cause close to her heart.
“The fact that Aerie was so supportive of myself and other survivors, and is helping to donate money to Darkness to Light really means a lot to me,” she told Style Caster. See more photos below.
Aly, who jokingly stated she’s basically done with pandemic sweats, also ensured people don’t think the collection’s blue-and-white leotard is for gymnasts only: “Someone could wear it in their regular life with jeans or leggings, or they can wear it to gymnastics practice.”
The collab comes as Aly also lends her name to other brands, helping fight homelessness with retail giant Amazon and shouting out plant-based lifestyles with high-protein Silk Milk drink.
