Salma Hayek is looking back fondly on a time when the world was not being ruled by the coronavirus pandemic – a time when you could walk through a crowded airport and get bombarded by autograph seekers. The “Bliss” star took to Instagram this week and shared a throwback photo from her illustrious career while reminiscing about the good ol’ days. The lookback by Salma also comes as the actress has made a bold move towards our future by joining a movement aimed at creating a more sustainable world.
54-year-old Salma Hayek threw it back on social media with a shot that appeared to be taken in the mid-90s, judging by her iconic hair. With mouth agape, the “From Dusk Til Dawn” actress looked back on what a different state the world was in at the time.
“Throwback to a time where you could sign autographs with your mouth open and no mask,” Hayek captioned her stunning retro photo of herself holding up a blue sharpie while getting bombarded by autograph hounds.
Although Salma Hayek is looking back on the past, the star is also focused on the future and recently joined a ton of other A-list celebrities with a mission on planting a million home gardens in America.
“Everyone should have the opportunity to grow their own food. That’s why I’m joining the @MillionGardensMovement to give 1 million gardens to families in need,” Hayek captioned a recent Instagram post of herself chomping down on a delicious-looking pepper.
She added, “Whether it is on a windowsill or in a backyard, together we can create a healthier, happier, more sustainable world.”
