Vicki Gunvalson keeps saying that she is over the “Real Housewives of Orange County” and has moved on to being a devoted grandmother to her now three grandkids and maybe getting married to her boyfriend Steve Lodge. One would assume that she has so much to occupy her time, planning a wedding and all but apparently not, Gunvalson is more focused on the fact that she will allegedly not be apart of the mysterious housewives’ spinoff that is rumored to be in the works at Bravo.
Spinoff In The Works
The spinoff, according to TMZ alum Anthony Dominic will feature eight to ten housewives from the franchise essentially locked up together. “This isn’t a Housewives “All Stars,” that’s just how a blog worded it. This is them filming a fun show and getting ladies together from different franchises,” shared Dominic.
“I’m told it will be just 4 franchises…New Jersey, Beverly Hills, Atlanta and New York,” he later clarified in a tweet. Two women from each franchise and he even has the names of the rumored women who will be in what is sure to be a mess of a house.
Sorry Vicki Need Not Apply
“The 8 I’ve heard are Melissa [Gorga], Teresa [Giudice], Rinna [Lisa Rinna], Kyle [Richards], Kenya [Moore], Cynthia [Bailey], Ramona [Singer] and Sonja [Morgan]. I’m told more than half of this list has signed on.” This is where Gunvalson comes in, apparently, she assumed she was a no-brainer for the spinoff. The “OG of the OC” wasn’t happy when she realized that she again missed out on an opportunity to be the center of attention. Tamra Judge responded to a blogger who wanted to know is she and Gunvalson would be the two women from OC.
Tamra To The Rescue… As Usual
“Tamra [Judge] responded to my IG question confirming Vicki isn’t involved in the Housewives spin-off, and that such a decision is bullshit.” Of course, Gunvalson commented as well clarifying that she was initially one of the first people to sign on. “It’s bullshit!! I had the contract signed by both parties in FEB then Covid hit…then crickets.”
Fans of the show know that the former reality star was not happy with how her time as an OC housewife turned out. Assuming she would be back for season 14, Gunvalson and Judge were both shocked to find out that they were being demoted to “friend of the show”.
Vicki Is Receiving Mixed Reviews
Fans had mixed reviews about the OG not heading up the spinoff, one fan commented acknowledging that both Gunvalson and Judge bring the drama and would be an asset to the show. Another fan reminded viewers that Gunvalson actually doesn’t have a leg to stand on because she has done so much “shady things” to Bravo and their affiliates since she exited the show. “Why would Bravo have her on? She has tried to sue them under a false identity, plus she all the shit she has said about Andy! I mean… You got to be dumb if you still think your gonna join an all star season.” Period.
