President Joe Biden is having a rough day after he tripped and fell, not once…but THREE times, as he was climbing up the stairs onto Air Force One.
The 78-year-old commander-in-chief was hustling up the ramp and stairs like he normally does when he slipped on what appears to be the slick carpet and goes to the ground. You gotta see the video! But, he gathered himself and took a few more steps, only to slip for a second time!
If that wasn’t bad enough, the President took a third dive on the same staircase, this time hitting the ground and injuring his shin.

After struggling for a moment, Biden brushes off his knee and continues towards the top. The good news, Biden does eventually make it, where he handles the situation in stride and does a salute before ducking inside of the aircraft.
The President is on his way from Joint Base Andrews to Atlanta where he is meeting with several community leaders in the wake of the massage parlor shootings.
White House spokesperson, Kate Bedingfield issued a statement following the fall, saying Biden was not injured. “I know folks have seen that President Biden slipped on his way up the stairs to AF1, but I’m happy to report that he is just fine and did not even require any attention from the medical team who travels with him,” she tweeted.
Adding, “Nothing more than a misstep on the stairs.”

It should be noted, Biden suffered a hairline fracture in his right foot recently after playing with his rescue dog, Major. The incident required him to wear an orthopedic boot for a few weeks. The problem is, it appears this is the same leg that is banged up during the most recent spill.
Interestingly, Biden once mocked former President Donald Trump after videos of him surfaced walking gingerly down a ramp at West Point went viral. “Watch how I run up ramps and he stumbles down ramps. OK? Come on,” Biden said at the time.

To be fair, Biden isn’t the only President to take a spill on the stairs of Air Force One. Back in 1975, Gerald Ford took a nasty dive while walking down the stairs after the plane touched down in Austria amongst rainy conditions.
Also, it has been a rough week for the Presidential jets, after Vice President Kamala Harris’ plane (Air Force Two) had some mechanical issues and she was forced to find a different airplane.
Bottom Line, it appears the POTUS is going to be ok, and everyone stumbles sometimes!
