Jessica Simpson, who dropped 100 pounds in just six months, is sparking weight worries as she slips back into a tiny pair of shredded Daisy Dukes. The 40-year-old actress, singer, and clothing designer is currently front-page news for stunning fans in skin-tight double denim as she goes full cowgirl for her Jessica Simpson Style brand’s Spring 2021 campaign, with the promo shots also bringing the “Dukes of Hazzard” star in skimpy shorts and from gorgeous fields. Scroll for the photo. It comes as Jessica makes headlines for seeing some fans consider her too skinny – fitting into a 14-year-old pair of True Religion jeans did just this last year, with 2021 already seeing users call the beautiful actress gaunt in a yoga selfie.
The shot, shared to the JSS Instagram, showed Jessica confidently posing all legs and killer waistline while in belted Daisy Dukes, a peasant-style white top, plus a yarn-like and striped caramel cardigan. Simpson was toting a giant wooden stick as she was backed by sunny and hilly horizons.
Jessica, who was pulling off fashionista farm girl in her beige hat, went funky with high leopard-print wedge sandals – while fans did raise a few eyebrows over the footwear, it’s a remark on the blonde’s weight that’s caused a storm.
“No!! Way too skinny,” the user wrote. The comment has not gone unnoticed, and it looks like fans are there to back Jessica up. “She is not skinny!” one replied, adding that Jessica’s legs were all “muscle mass,” something that’s “hard earned and healthy.”
Continuig to fight for Jessica, the user continued: “Pretty sure she doesn’t give a damn what you think of her weight, but she looks Amazing.” Also defending the skinny-shaming comment was a fan replying:
“Hey, don’t shame ANYONE for their weight! If she want’s to be skinny, good for her. If she chooses to be heavier, good for her too!”

Jessica, who walked up to 10,000 steps a day to shift the weight and followed an egg and egg-white-heavy diet, has since opened up on maintaining that weight loss. The star who works out before her three “kiddos” wake up, last year spoke to Hollywood Life, saying that she does absolutely treat herself.
