The former "Hannah Montana" star hid her face, but the toned legs revealed something unexpected.

Cyrus, showing a wet bandaid on her knee, then told fans: "My wack knee worst [sic] than my acne."

Offering no other context or how she sustained the minor injury, Miley then posted a throwback from her "Hannah Montana" days, one seeing her holding a phone while smiling as she wrote: "Me calling every hottie I know for pity re: knee."

The "Hannah Montana" snap comes as Miley makes headlines for looking back on her acting career as a girl leading a double life. In particular, for reflecting on the role and saying she had an "identity crisis" as a result.

Speaking on Spotify's "Rock This with Allison Hagendorf" podcast and about the Disney channel series, Cyrus stated:

"The concept of the show is that when you're this character, when you have this alter ego, you're valuable. You've got millions of fans, you're the biggest star in the world," adding: "Then the concept was that when I looked like myself, when I didn't have the wig on anymore, no one cared about me.
