Miranda Lambert is the heck making sure the Grammys 2021 gets a country injection – from her. The 37-year-old “Bluebird” singer is tonight gearing up for three prestigious nominations – alongside Best Country Album, the blonde is up for Best Country Song with “Bluebird,” plus Best Country Solo Performance. Gearing her Instagram followers up to tune into the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards tonight March 14, Miranda posted footage of her super-leggy and traditional hot cowgirl look. Check out the sizzling outfit below.
Scroll for the video. Miranda, who runs a successful country/western-themed clothing line, IdyllWind and is no stranger to a Yee-Haw look, posted stage footage of herself with the gorgeous star seen relaxed and up for a little fire all at once. Strutting across a set and backed by yellow, the “Wildcard” singer showed off her stellar pins in a skimpy black miniskirt with dangling fringe, matching it with a pattern shirt and trusty acid-wash denim jacket worn open. Cowboy boots, of course, were donned.
The video also included a brief interview snippet with Miranda, one seeing her gush at what a privilege it is to be featured and nominated at the Grammys this year.
“Getting to come to the Grammys and perform and have this song celebrated…it…it means the world,” Lambert stated as her #1 “Bluebird” hit played in the background. “#GRAMMYS,” the caption read, with Miranda adding: “Now on @cbstv.”
Fans are proving rather opinionated over the event this year seeing pop/R&B mainstream including Dua Lipa and Beyonce dominate nominations. See the response after the video.
Miranda’s 4.1 million Instagram followers have been responding. One, clearly, a major country fan. “Can’t wait to hear real music! This crap that is on is reuning My faith in music,” they wrote. “Love you girl but the grammys is a big No for me,” another said.
Miranda, who was first nominated for a Grammy back in 2007 and won her first one in 2011, is set to perform hit “Bluebird” track tonight. Turns out, she’s been dropping unknown knowledge on the song.
Speaking ahead of the awards tonight, Lambert revealed: “Bluebird” was written and came out a little bit before the pandemic happened, and no one could have predicted how much the song would resonate with people back then. “‘Bluebird’ was a hopeful song to begin with.”
“We wrote it way before we knew about what we were about to walk into so we just wrote this song with a little bit of a hopeful message,” she added.
