D’Andra Simmons was asked about Brandi Redmond‘s issues with Dr. Tiffany Moon during an appearance on Andy Cohen‘s late night talk show earlier this week.
Following the latest episode of “The Real Housewives of Dallas,” Simmons admitted to confronting Redmond after Redmond suggested it was Dr. Moon’s job, as an Asian, to make her feel better about the shocking video scandal she was involved with in early 2020.
“I did tell Brandi, ‘I think that was highly inappropriate because it’s not Tiffany’s responsibility to make you feel better,'” Simmons recalled during the March 9 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
Brandi Redmond Felt ‘Uncomfortable’ Around Dr. Tiffany Moon
As “RHOD” fans will recall, Redmond was seen seemingly making fun of Asians’ looks and accents in a clip shared on social media last year.
Although Redmond ultimately apologized for all who she offended and entered a wellness center in an effort to improve, she faced major issues with Dr. Moon during filming on season five.
During recent episodes, Dr. Moon has made it clear that she harbors no ill will for Redmond but for some reason, Redmond still feels uncomfortable around her.
D’Andra Simmons Encouraged Brandi Redmond To Fix Her Soul
As Simmons recalled, she told Redmond, “It’s your responsibility to dig deep and figure it out for yourself. It’s not about Tiffany. It’s about you. And you need to get well and you need to feel good in your soul. Your husband, your kids, nobody can fix it for you. You have to fix yourself. “
She went on to say that when it came to Redmond’s behavior, she didn’t think it was at all fair for Redmond to make her feelings Dr. Moon’s responsibility.
“I didn’t think it was fair for her to put that off on Tiffany and I believe most of the ladies agreed with me from watching the episode,” she stated.
D’Andra Simmons Insists She Didn’t Talk Badly About Kary Brittingham
During another moment of “WWHL,” Simmons was asked if she felt badly about the things she said about co-star Kary Brittingham during season five.
“I actually don’t believe i talked bad about Kary. I was just expressing my feelings at the moment to Tiffany and I think if you eavesdrop on someone you kind of get what you hear so that’s how I feel,” Simmons noted.
Then, when Cohen suggested it was an “awkward” episode for Simmons to watch when she was seen talking about Brittingham, Simmons denied being uncomfortable with the footage.
“I know that I didn’t say anything bad. I was expressing my feelings. If I had said, ‘Kary’s a bad friend. Kary’s selfish. Kary’s this. Kary’s that.’ But I didn’t say a bunch of horrible things about Kary,” she said.
There’s More Drama To Come Between D’Andra Simmons And Kary Brittingham
“I felt like she was being [disingenuous] with her toast at the beginning but now that we’ve worked things out, I think she understands how I felt and I think she feels her same, different way as well and we’ll hash it out in the weeks to come,” Simmons added.
To see more of Simmons, Redmond, Brittingham, and their cast mates, don’t miss new episodes of the fifth season of “The Real Housewives of Dallas,” which are currently airing on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo.
