Everyone loves a good birthday surprise, and on an upcoming episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” talk show host of “The Late Show,” David Letterman surprised Drew Barrymore on her 46th birthday.
During the episode, Letterman pleasantly surprised Barrymore by making an unexpected appearance. Initially, Barrymore believed she would discuss with Letterman over Zoom call, but was surprised after a staged technical issue had the legendary show host walk into the studio.
The actress was surprised and tried to hold back tears as she shared that she was glad to have the 73-year-old around.

Spilling the details of the surprise, Letterman disclosed that the “Zoomer thing” was his idea.

However, the birthday surprise is not the first time the TV show hosts celebrated their birthdays together.
In 1995, Barrymore appeared in an episode of “The Late Show” and danced on Letterman’s desk for his 48th birthday.
Opening up to “EW” about the spontaneous moment, Barrymore shared that Letterman was very accepting of her and even told the audience that it was okay for her little dance. From that moment onward, the pair developed fun chemistry.

However, Letterman has faced public scrutiny in recent times for the way he treated female celebrities’ that appeared on his show over the years. From Jennifer Aniston to Paris Hilton, the TV show host is upsetting the media.

In a separate story, Adam Sandler and Barrymore shared that they’d like to co-star in another movie together.
In a virtual meet-up, the pair named the “Goat Dynamic Duo” gushed about their thirty years of working together on movie projects.
Time Of Our Lives
The pair made their first movie appearance together in the 1998 movie, “The Wedding Singer,” where they played love interests. They also reunited in 2004 for “50 First Dates” and again in 2014 for “Blended.”
Agreeing with Barrymore, Sandler shared that in this new decade, he is was ready for another joint project.
Barrymore, however, maintained that she was on board for only the perfect movie project. Breaking character, Sandler congratulated Barrymore on her new gig and said that she was “going to make people so happy, every day, and every time they see her.”
