Christina Aguilera might be channeling the “Stripped” era but after teasing months in the studio, her Fighters are left wondering where the new album is. The 40-year-old sparked worries earlier this week after she stripped down in the recording studio and gave an album update, sort of.
Taking to her social media on Wednesday, March 3, the blonde bombshell showed that her recording session heated up so hot that she needed to lose some clothing. Teasing her fans with an update, Christina Aguilera’s thirst trap didn’t leave them satisfied.
Dropping two pictures from inside the studio, the “Genie In a Bottle” singer dangled her killer body in everyone’s faces. Sporting an itty bitty tan-colored tank top, the star paired the late-night look with a matching headscarf and oversized black sweater that she quickly lost.
Rocking sweats and sneakers, Christina Aguilera folded her killer legs while sitting on the couch and looking over her sheet notes. Letting her jacket fall seductively off her shoulders, the five-time Grammy winner‘s late-night strip didn’t distract her followers from the topic at hand. Scroll to see Xtina’s “Stripped” vibes!
Christina Aguilera has been teasing new music for months, dropping endless shots in the recording studio. The “Beautiful” singer created a buzz in September when she revealed she was working on “meaningful” music. It’s been almost three years since the pop icon has released “Liberation,” her eighth studio album, and to say that Fighters have been anxiously waiting is an understatement.
So, when Christina Aguilera said she was “so inspired” by her recent studio session, her update wasn’t enough to feed their appetite. Keep scrolling for the shot!
“So excited & inspired right now!!” Xtina captioned the photos. “Fighters – I can’t wait to share everything with you in time,” she continued, “The craft & commitment to creative is key ?✨.” Christina Aguilera’s mini-update did not leave her followers pleased. Immediately after posting, her fighters sounded off.
“Sweetie just drop the album. You’ve been working in it since 2004, it’s time,” one person responded. “We’ve been ready, honey,” shared another. Xtina isn’t listening to haters. She’s taking her time to make sure it’s right and is trolling naysayers in the process.
