Megan Also Reached 5x Platinum Status With Feature On Cardi B’s ‘WAP’ Single
On Wednesday, it was also revealed that Cardi B‘s 2020 “WAP” single featuring Megan Thee Stallion sold over 5 million units in the US. This makes the record eligible for 5x platinum status by the RIAA. Back during WAP’s initial August release, it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The music video was also a viral sensation as it included cameos from stars such as Kylie Jenner, Mulatto, Normani, and more. It is expected to appear on Cardi’s sophomore album this year.
