Dr. Tiffany Moon may be one and done when it comes to her time on “The Real Housewives of Dallas.”
During an interview with Distractify on March 1, Dr. Moon admitted that when it comes to reprising her full-time role on the Bravo reality series’ second season, she may not have nearly enough time.
“The conditions under which I filmed this season would not allow me to do a second season. It would be nearly impossible,” Dr. Moon admitted.
According to Dr. Moon, who was added to the cast in 2020, she typically began filming with her cast mates in the evening, after working at the hospital since 6 a.m.
Dr. Tiffany Moon Lost Time With Her Family During Filming On ‘RHOD’ Season Five
“I missed out on a lot of time with my family during filming. That’s just the simple truth. I’m not sure if I’m willing to make that sacrifice again because it was a really hard time for me during filming,” she explained.
Dr. Moon joined the cast of “The Real Housewives of Dallas” as a friend of longtime cast member D’Andra Simmons, who is also featured in a full-time position on the reality series.
Looking back, she said that it was challenging for viewers to understand the pressure she was under while attempting to balance her life at work with her life with the ladies.
Dr. Tiffany Moon Was Admittedly Irritable At Times
“Sometimes that doesn’t translate to the viewers… As they are watching the episode, if I seem cranky or tired or disengaged, they’re not necessarily remembering that I was in the operating room for eight to ten hours that day before a dinner party,” Dr. Moon shared.
“I’m not trying to make excuses, but I was really trying to juggle being a full-time physician working during a pandemic and participating to the fullest extent on the show,” she added. “Sometimes, things got a little murky because I was spread too thin.”
Dr. Tiffany Moon’s Husband Daniel Was Her Rock Amid Filming
Speaking of husband Daniel, Dr. Moon said that he had her back through filming but noted that his on-screen persona is no different than what she gets outside of production.
“This is not him playing the supportive husband role. This is the real Daniel Moon. Sometimes I feel like I don’t deserve him. He’s just such a good human being. He really is my better half, and I know that sounds so cheesy. He’s been incredibly loving and supportive throughout this process,” she gushed.
Dr. Tiffany Moon’s Husband Supported Her Decision To Join ‘RHOD’
According to Dr. Moon, Daniel was just as supportive of her prior to her addition to the “RHOD” cast.
“That’s how he was too when I was offered to do the show. He said that he was behind me 100%, if I really wanted to give it a try. If I have inspired and entertained, then I feel good about what I did,” Dr. Moon stated.
To see more of Dr. Moon and her cast mates, don’t miss new episodes of “The Real Housewives of Dallas” season five this and every Tuesday night at 9/8c on Bravo.
