Britney Spears is on a mission of healing after experiencing what she describes as a year of “craziness,” and the popstar is letting her fans know that she is focused on putting in the hard work in the hopes of creating a fresh beginning. The 39-year-old “Womanizer” singer took to Instagram on Monday afternoon, after a weekend of her usual social media silence. Britney offered up some words of wisdom for her 28.4 million fans and discussed adopting a healthy lifestyle in order to get her mind, body and spirit all in order.
Although she did not share a picture of herself, Britney Spears posted a bright, happy, image of a European street lined with pink umbrellas.
“On all accounts of the craziness the past year … I feel like God’s tears have hit all of us with what the world has been through due to coronavirus!” the singer captioned her post.
She continued, “This new year should be a year of cleansing our inner selves with meditation ??♀️ … prayer ?? … any kind of hobby that brings joy ?? … and being conscious of what we put in our bodies as well ? !!! This all helps us to have a clear mind … body … spirit and offers so much more clarity in our everyday lives!
In the wake of the needed reset, Britney Spears has declared that she is working on her own healing, which includes knowing when it’s ok to show emotion.
“This year I devote myself to lots of tea ☕️ and healing !!!! I’m working on allowing myself to not be so strong all the time and to know it’s ok to cry !!!! I pray for deep healing this year for all of us and I hope we can all inspire each other !!!! Again … BE KIND – PASS IT ON AMERICA ???!!!!”
Britney Spears calling for a worldwide healing session comes amid a fresh round of drama for the pop star, as a documentary focused on the strict rules of her ongoing conservatorship has once again shone the spotlight on the life of the troubled star. Produced by The New York Times, “Framing Britney Spears” examines the downfall of the Princess of Pop, which ultimately led to a court-ordered conservatorship, putting strict guidelines on her financial freedom, medical decisions and daily life with family.
