T.I. and Tiny Harris are facing serious allegations of defamation, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress by a woman who claims T.I. put a gun to her head and threatened “B**** i’ll kill you.”
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Sabrina Peterson, who claims to be an award-winning business coach, entrepreneur, and activist who has built a brand and reputation surrounding female empowerment, says she has known T.I. and Tiny for over a decade, and after an altercation with T.I.’s assistant, T.I. threatened her life.
Peterson claims she no longer communicated with T.I. but maintained her friendship with Tiny, who was not there for T.I.’s alleged attack. In January of this year, Peterson claims Tiny took to her Instagram to post a defamatory, false statement, and allegedly exposing Peterson’s eight-year-old son to millions of Tiny’s followers.
Sabrina Peterson claims Shekinah Anderson, also named in the lawsuit, who has made appearances on several reality shows, including “T.I. and Tiny’s Family Hustle”, posted a defamatory video claiming Peterson was engaged in sexual acts with Tiny and T.I..
Peterson says T.I. and Tiny made a public statement denying T.I. put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her. Their statement says, “Mr. and Mrs. Harris want to be on the record, and more importantly, want the public to know they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations being made against them by Sabrina Peterson.”
T.I. allegedly took to his Instagram to post a defamatory, false statement against Peterson. He also denied Peterson’s claims he drugged and raped women throughout the years. Peterson claims as a result of T.I., Tiny, and Anderson’s defamatory statements, Peterson has been consistently harassed with threatening Instagram messages from their followers.
Peterson claims T.I. and Tiny have disrupted her business as an entrepreneur and she has suffered humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress.
Over the weekend, T.I. and Tiny’s attorney Steve Sadow released a statement reading, “Clifford (T.I.) and Tameka Harris deny in the strongest possible terms these unsubstantiated and baseless allegations. We are confident that if these claims are thoroughly and fairly investigated, no charges will be forthcoming.”
He continued, “These allegations are nothing more than the continuation of a sordid shakedown campaign that began on social media. The Harrises implore everyone not to be taken in by these obvious attempts to manipulate the press and misuse the justice system.”
