In January and at the start of February, T.I. and his wife, Tiny, trended heavily on social media for very controversial reasons. Their former friend, Sabrina Peterson, came out on social media and claimed that she suffered sexual abuse at the hands of the couple. She even alleged that the Atlanta rapper held her at gunpoint. After Peterson’s post, more women came out against the couple and also claimed that they suffered sexual abuse. Over 15 women came out.
Sabrina Peterson Claimed That ‘Predators’ Are Praised
“The sad part about being a woman & BEING A BLACK WOMAN IS THIS! The public PRAISES OUR PREDATORS! @troubleman31 you PUT A GUN TO MY HEAD IN FRONT OF CHILDREN & I NEVER CALLED THE POLICE ON YOU! But for years you have painted me as the VILLAIN! AS BLACK WOMEN! It’s hard to heal from RAPE, VIOLENCE OR ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU ARE PAINTED AS THE PROBLEM OR REASON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU!”
Lawyer Calls For Investigation Into The Couple
Up until this point, no investigations or charges are on the table for T.I. and Tiny, according to The Jasmine Brand. This is the case even after many of the victims hired high-profile attorney, Lisa Bloom.
Now, one attorney is coming out in an attempt to get an investigation officially started, according to The New York Times. This is Tyrone A. Blackburn, who represents 11 of the alleged victims. A letter sent to prosecutors claims that the victims have accounts of “sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment”
Lawyer Details What Crimes T.I. And Tiny Allegedly Committed
Blackburn claimed how one woman said that she was forced by T.I. to take ecstasy pills and was also forced by the couple to perform sexual acts with other women. This woman was also interviewed as part of the NYT report.
“On several occasions, T.I. forced her to take multiple ecstasy pills” and “the duo forced her to engage in sexual acts with different women against her will,” said Blackburn on behalf of one of the alleged victims. “She has personally witnessed women complaining of being kidnapped and held against their will for days at a time.”
Investigation Requests Were Sent To Various Attorney Offices
Blackburn is hard at work right now as these criminal investigation requests to multiple attorney offices such as U.S. Attorneys for the Northern District of Georgia, the Central District of California, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney. The attorney generals of Georgia and California were also contacted by Blackburn. Notices have been received at the moment but as of now, no investigations have been underway by law enforcement. The couple has since firmly denied any involvement in the allegations made by these women.
