During an open-top bus chat with “The Late Late Show” host James Corden, Prince Harry answered a very important question.
He mentioned that his grandparents; Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, do know how to use Zoom as they have called his family a few times and have seen Archie playing.
He, however, continued that Prince Philip has a habit of slamming the laptop shut to indicate the end of a call instead of pressing the “Leave” or “end” button. This revelation came as part of the LA tour with Corden.
Cutting Ties With A Toxic Relationship
Outside their tour of the TV-famous mansion of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Harry rapped the show’s theme song proving himself an ardent fan. This happened before Corden facetimed Meghan Markle, who was heard sweetly calling her husband, Haz.
Harry also opened up to Corden about his life with Markle and their son Archie.
He also talked about their decision to step back as frontline royals, saying the pressure of being in London was ‘destroying his mental health’ and branded Britain’s media ‘toxic.’
Prince Philip Slams The Laptop Shut After A-Zoom Call- Prince Harry
The rare TV interview was filmed before Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London as a precautionary measure.
Responding to Corden’s question whether the monarch knows how to use Zoom, Harry said;
“Yes, both my grandparents do, they have zoomed a few times, they have seen Archie running around.”
He continued that his grandfather, Prince Philip also closes the laptop instead of leaving the meeting. He also shared that the Queen sent her great-grandson, Archie, a waffle maker for Christmas.
Prince Philip’s Hospital Admission
Furthermore, he gushed about his son, whom he described him as ‘hysterical,’ and shared that his first word was ‘crocodile.’
According to Buckingham Palace, Prince Philip continues his stay in the hospital going on 11 days- his most prolonged stay ever.
Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, thanked well-wishers for their support and confirmed that the senior royal was getting better each day and looking forward to getting back to his family. Philip’s 11th day in the hospital coincided with the day Harry’s interview was released.
A Life Of Service
Harry described he and Markle’s “Megxit” from frontline royal duties at the time of the interview.
He said; ‘It was never walking away. It was instead a step back.”
He mentioned that it was a challenging environment for himself and his family, so he did the next best thing to protect his family, and that was what he, as a husband and father, did.
The rare interview was done before the Queen took away the Sussexes’ royal patronage. At the time, Prince Harry affirmed that his life is public service.
