Former “Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco is one of the biggest TV stars around but she was clearly starstruck when meeting actress, Catherine O’Hara. Cuoco met up with the “Schitt’s Creek” star this week and immediately took to Instagram to share the moment with her millions of fans. The 35-year-old star of “The Flight Attendant” made it clear O’Hara is one of her comedic inspirations and legends, which definitely makes sense looking back on Cuoco’s own impressive run in comedy.
It’s unclear where Kaley Cuoco and Catherine O’Hara met, but it’s clear the two stars were giddy with excitement about sharing some stories.
“Anyone who knows me knows what this moment meant to me. I finally met my comedy queen #catherineohara and she’s everything I hoped and dreamed,” Cuoco gushed about O’Hara, who most recently played the iconic Moira Rose on “Schitt’s Creek.”
The 66-year-old Canadian American actress has exploded in popularity since her six-season run on “Schitt’s Creek,” and has been killing the comedy game for decades while racking up multiple awards and recognitions for her craft.
Looking at her own success on HBO Max’s “The Flight Attendant,” Kaley Cuoco recently did an interview with Variety and spoke about her thoughts on Season 2, especially with the storyline of her character trying to get sober.
“She always had the excuse of alcohol. So no matter what situation she gets in, it’s like, ‘I was drunk! I’m fun Cass!’ And she kind of gets away with it,” Cuoco told Kate Arthur for Variety.
She added, “So now what is her excuse for being shit? What is her excuse for fucking up?”
