Gymnast Nastia Liukin Shirtless For Pizza With Massive Thigh Gap

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is on the beach, opening wide, and shoveling in pizza slices while flaunting her massive thigh gap. The 31-year-old former athlete and 2008 all-around champion made Tuesday extra cheesy and extra skimpy for her 1 million Instagram followers, cramming her stories with responses to the "post a pic of" trend and definitely delivering. Nastia, who faced an anorexia storm in October 2020, was proving that super-slim gymnasts do eat, and this one likes it Italian. Check it out below.

If you don't live inside Nastia's Instagram, the five-time Olympic medalist was big-time in the news last fall as a fan DM asked her how she feels about "promoting borderline anorexia looking bodies." Showing that the body she's admitted to always being "thin" is correctly fed, Nastia posted a quick throwback of herself on a sandy beach and seemingly entertained by a giant pizza slice. Nastia, chowing down on her slice and tagging herself in Venice Beach, California, confirmed the January 23 date, offering no other context as she posed in tight black spandex leggings with a blue band, also rocking a matching sports bra for an athletic, but shirtless, look.

The photo comes as Nastia continues to find herself caught up in storms, this time seeing the Russian-born star slammed for quoting 31-year-old signer Taylor Swift in a leggy Instagram post. See the pizza below!

Liukin, again sparking a storm this year as fans alleged she only fuels her 6.30 a.m. workout starts with black coffee - she clapped back - has opened up on her food mindset. Speaking to The Cut in 2016, the star mentioned eating something "small" before training, adding:

"After my workout I’ll have a bigger breakfast, like an omelet with tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, and maybe some chicken or something. Making sure to get enough protein in is extremely important for me to this day. It keeps you full longer."

It isn't just pizza on this gymnast's cheat list. Liukin, raised by two Olympic gymnast parents, also referenced mother Anna Kotchneva, continuing:

"I also remember my mom telling me, “If you want a cookie, have a cookie.” Because then you’re going to get to a point where just like you want ten cookies and you’re going to eat ten."
