The stars of “Alaskan Bush People” are still reeling from the sudden death of their patriarch, Billy Brown, and now his widow is getting out a message to fans and thanking everyone for the showering of love and support the family has received in the wake of the loss. Bear Brown, one of the sons of Ami and the late Billy, took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon with a message of thanks to their friends and fans from his grieving mother.
“Hello everyone! My Mom wanted me to personally thank everybody, for all the support in this very hard time! By far the hardest time my family, the Wolfpack! Has ever been through!” Bear Brown began his message to fans on Saturday via social media.
Although Ami and Billy Brown have accounts on social media, they do not post and are not as tech-savvy as their children.
As we reported, Billy passed away due to complications from a seizure earlier this month at the age of 68.
Continuing with his message to the fans from mom, Bear Brown wrote:
“We have received condolences from all over the world! So thank you to all y’all guys from all over the world! It means a lot to us!!! Be sure to tell the people closest to you, how much you love them! You never know when you might not get the chance again! Also I would like to give my condolences to everyone who has lost a loved one! God bless!”
As we previously reported, Billy Brown had been living long-term in a hospital nearby the family’s homestead in Washington. The “Alaskan Bush People” stars made the move from Alaska a few years back when they needed to be closer to doctors for Billy’s declining health.
Although the last few years have been tough, Bear is happy that his father was able to meet his son, River, and recently shared some photos of the two that were taken before Billy’s death.
“I’m glad my Dad got to meet my son, his grandson, I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes when he held him!” Bear captioned his special photos.
