Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is arching her back in a minuscule pink minidress and stilettos by a vintage Dodge car to express gratitude over something very close to home. The 31-year-old five-time Olympic medalist, currently counting down six days until the 12th annual Nastia Cup, updated for her 1 million Instagram followers on Saturday, posting jaw-dropping photos of her Gold Medal body all pretty in pink in the tightest minidress she’s worn to date. The message was deep-felt, though. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. They come as Liukin, who this year admitted being a member of a Facebook group called “50 Shades of Pink,” counts down to this year’s cup by wearing a different, all-pink look every day.
All legs and in strappy pink matching mules, the 2008 all-around champion’s weekend post took her by a green Dodge, full bombshell as she arched her back with blonde hair falling down her back and looking smoking hot in a sleeveless baby pink minidress.
The impossibly leggy look, seeing Nastia continuing to clap back at trolls asking to see her “gross skinny chicken legs” this year, came with a gushing caption.
“12 years ago, I had this idea. An idea that almost felt larger than life at times, but one that I knew we could make a reality for alll of those little girls – because I was one of those little girls many years ago,” the blonde wrote. See the photos and her bikini body below!
Nastia, who retired aged just 22 back in 2012, added: “Needless to say, this dream came true – and in ways it became much bigger than I could have ever imagined. That little idea was the Nastia Liukin Cup.”
Adding that creating a “little competition” for aspiring gymnasts was important, but likewise, a drive to connect with the gymnastics community, Liukin concluded: “I am forever indebted to and grateful for. So here’s to this little dream continuing to grow, and continuing to inspire the next generation! ? 6 days… #nastiacup.” Scroll for her bikini body!
Nastia refuses to apologize for a body she admitted has always been “thin” back in 2016. The Moscow native, who faced a major anorexia storm in October 2020, has been steadily shutting down the skinny-shamers, this year clapping back over the “gross skinny chicken legs” and stating that those legs won her all those medals. Liukin has also been supporting the state of Texas amid its snowstorm crisis. Born in Russia, the star moved to the U.S. as a child and lives in Dallas.
