Demi Lovato Was Bullied As A Child
Lovato kicked off her career as a child star in a sitcom titled “Barney And Friends,” where she played a character called Angela. After this, she proceeded to feature in smaller roles, which made her popular in school.
According to the singer, the popularity she got from being a child actor made it impossible for her to make friends in school because her peers constantly bullied her.
When she could no longer take the incessant bullying, she opted for home-schooling. However, she continued with her movie career and stayed atop her game.

In 2007, the “Sober” singer joined Disney Channel to star in a series called “As The Bell Rings.” She also got a role in a popular musical titled “Camp Rock,” which put her in the public’s eyes.
Lovato received recognition for her impeccable acting skills, but fans were also drawn to her because she had an incredible voice. She recorded her first four sounds as a soundtrack for “Camp Rock.”
Although, she was an incredible actress, Lovato found more of herself in the music she made, so she went with the flow.
All her life, Lovato had been exposed to the scrutiny and attention of social media users, so, in a way, her life had been structured to go a certain way.

Recently, the singer shared her thoughts on her past experiences and the event tat changed her life for the better.
During a discussion with People Magazine, Lovato expressed her genuine happiness with how she lives presently. She also mentioned that events leading to her present life, helped to shape her and for that, she would not ‘change a thing.’
“It was a painful journey and I look and sometimes I get sad when I think of the pain that I had to endure to overcome what I have, but I don’t regret anything,” she said.
