Famous singer Nick Jonas is at the center of a brewing storm on social media.
The Jonas Brothers heartthrob came under fire from fans on X after responding to a tweet by controversial entrepreneur Elon Musk, who is a vocal supporter of President-elect Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, Nick Jonas and his wife Priyanka Chopra are seemingly getting in the groove for the festive season as they attended Morgan Stewart McGraw's Christmas dinner in the US.
Nick Jonas' Interaction With Elon Musk On X
Jonas' fans and followers are not going easy on him after he made a tweet that seemed to portray him as an Elon Musk stan, with many now threatening to boycott The Jonas Brothers band altogether.
The issue started when Musk responded to an article by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, which claimed that the automobile company's profits are "up 100 percent" since President-elect Donald Trump won the elections last month.

Musk notably replied to the post with a GIF of the Jonas Brothers turning tables to quite literally transmit his X caption, "My how the tables have turned." This was seemingly in reference to how people projected that his business empire would suffer a hit for publicly supporting Trump.
Jonas then appeared to support the tech billionaire with a tweet of his own.
The "Do It Like That" singer uploaded a photo of Musk looking smug and encouraged the SpaceX founder to "take us to the Year 3000," a callback to The Jonas Brothers' hit 2006 song.
Fans Were Left Stunned By The Singer's Tweet
Jonas' show of support for Musk sparked widespread outrage and disappointment among his fan base, with many encouraging him to "delete this."
A fan wrote, "Nick, stop this. We all prayed for you in social studies class when you announced your diabetes in the middle of the day."
"And just like that…. You ruined everything AGAIN, Nicholas," another fan penned.
One fan noted, "He's gonna take us 3000 years into the past; just take a look at the people he supports. Be better, Nick, don't give attention to as-holes who take advantage of people."
Others slammed the 32-year-old singer for quoting "Year 3000," which is technically not a Jonas Brothers song. The brothers only did a cover of it, and the original song was made by the British band Busted.
"Thank god nobody was unironically listening to you guys anyways," an unimpressed fan wrote.
"Must be nice to be so free from the burden of intelligence," another added.
Some netizens, however, supported the singer. One person said, "It's sad how people suddenly feel immense disgust once they realize you have [a] difference in opinion. You don't have to change this view of yours to pander to others; it's okay."
Nick Jonas Does Not Plan On Deleting The Tweet
Meanwhile, Jonas has reportedly slammed his critics for overreacting to his tweet to Musk.
A source told the Daily Mail that although he didn't plan to support the tech billionaire, he will not delete the now-controversial tweet.
"Nick is not going to waver from his post on Elon Musk, nor will he double down, and doesn't plan on deleting it," the source said.
"He thinks many are taking things a little overboard in how they are reacting to it all, but there is nothing he can do about it except let everything die down," the source added.
The Singer Feels 'There Are A Lot More Important Things To Worry About'
The source further noted that Jonas does not intend to engage with "trolls" online as he has other things to worry about.
"For Nick, there are a lot more important things to worry about than dealing with online trolls over what he thought was a fun and non-drama-filled post," the source said. "Support or not, Nick was trying to be clever over making some type of statement or announcement of support, but on the internet, you can't do anything without getting attacked."
They added, "This will pass and Nick has already moved on from whatever controversy this somehow has made."
Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Celebrate Their Sixth Marriage Anniversary
The Musk controversy comes after Jonas posted on his Instagram account to celebrate his sixth wedding anniversary with his wife, Priyanka Chopra.
The couple got married in a Christian wedding ceremony on December 1, 2018, and have gone on to welcome daughter Malti Marie.
To celebrate the milestone, Jonas shared a flirty Instagram post with the actress and several other never-before-seen photos of their family.
"6 year wedding anniversary. Moana 2. Family time. New York City. What could be better? My heart is full," he captioned the sweet snap.
