Jamie Foxx was reportedly involved in an altercation at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills on Friday night, which left him injured.

Law enforcement sources confirmed that police were called to the upscale restaurant around 10 p.m. following a report of a fight in the dining area.

While the details remain unclear, police sources indicated that Jamie Foxx was involved in the incident but had already left the scene by the time officers arrived.

An assault report has been filed, and Foxx's name is listed among those involved. Authorities are expected to follow up with him regarding the matter.

A representative for Jamie Foxx told TMZ, “Jamie Foxx was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth. He had to get stitches and is recovering. The police were called, and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands.”

A witness at the scene mentioned to the outlet that Foxx might have been injured during the altercation, but he reportedly left the venue without seeking medical attention.

The news of the altercation comes after the actor revealed he suffered a brain bleed and a stroke.

“It is a mystery,” he said. “We still don’t know exactly what happened to me.” As The Blast reported, the Oscar-winning actor had a medical crisis last year. In his Netflix special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was," the Hollywood star opened up about the health challenges he faced and the journey to recovery, giving fans an intimate look into a difficult chapter of his life.

“April 11, I was having a bad headache and I asked my boy for an aspirin. And I realized quickly that when you’re in a medical emergency, your boys don’t know what the f-ck to do,” he said. “Before I could get the aspirin I went out. I don’t remember 20 days.”

"On May 4, I woke up. When I woke up, I found myself in a wheelchair. I couldn't walk," he added.

Fox News reported that the Oscar-winning actor disclosed he was on the brink of death and fell into a coma for several weeks.

The actor also shared that his initial doctor’s visit resulted in a cortisone shot, but it failed to resolve his condition. His sister, Deidra Dixon, continued to seek medical help, ultimately playing a critical role in his recovery.

He later ended up getting surgery, and after, the doctor told his sister, "You were right, your prayers are answered. We didn't find where it was coming from, but he is having a stroke. He may be able to make a full recovery, but it's going to be the worst year of his life."

"When people ask me is this a standup comedy show I say no it’s an artistic explanation."

"Of something that went terribly wrong, but thanks to the great people in Atlanta especially piedmont hospital you enabled me to come back and be on stage and do what I love to do the most," he added at the time.
