Over a year ago, Gypsy Rose Blanchard made waves when she left a comment on her then-husband Ryan Anderson's Instagram post, declaring, "The D is fire." The remark quickly went viral.
Although the comment added to Gypsy Rose Blanchard's notoriety at the time, she now admits she regrets making it.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Admits To Regretting Her Now Famous Comments
During a recent episode of "Radio Andy's Andy Cohen Live," host Andy Cohen asked Gypsy if she regretted leaving the infamous comment.
"I regret it for the simple fact that it haunts me to this day. That just needs to go away," Gypsy said. When asked if the "D" was fire or not, Gypsy responded, "I'm not commenting on that … We all need to move on."
Earlier this year, Gypsy Rose commented on one of her ex-husband's Instagram posts, defending him against critics in the comments. "Ryan, don't listen to the haters. I love you, and you love me," she wrote. "We don't owe anyone anything. Our family is who matters."
She added, "If you get likes and good comments, great, if you get hate, then whatever because THEY DONT MATTER." The former state prisoner cheekily declared that the source of jealousy is "because you are rocking my world every night…yeah, I said it, the D is [fire]. Happy wife happy life."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Ryan Anderson Split
Gypsy and Ryan have since separated and are going through the divorce process.
Following her release in December 2023, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson encountered significant challenges in their marriage. By March 2024, Gypsy announced their separation, citing a need for self-discovery and revealing that she had moved in with her parents. The following month, in April 2024, she officially filed for divorce.
The proceedings were marked by mutual restraining orders, highlighting the deep personal conflicts between the former couple. Gypsy later described the divorce as a profoundly emotional and "heartbreaking" experience. Ryan also shared his sorrow, admitting he had envisioned a future with Gypsy and was deeply affected by the end of their relationship.
Gypsy Rekindles Her Romance With Ken Urker
Gypsy, who has rekindled her relationship with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker, also shared with Andy Cohen a detailed timeline of their relationship during the interview.
"We have a long history. So, we first dated back in 2017 for two years … We have a two-year history under our belt," Gypsy explained. "We separated for four and a half years, and then I got married and moved on … I married Ryan. And then I came out [of prison] and just realized that it was not the marriage that I wanted. And so, I filed for divorce and then reconnected with Ken. And a month later we got pregnant. It's kind of been a journey."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Expecting Her First Child
Earlier this year, Gypsy Rose Blanchard publicly announced that she was expecting her first child with Ken Urker—a pregnancy she has stated was unplanned.
"You know it's still going to be a long journey ahead, but I'm up for it. I feel a shift in myself. When I found out that I was pregnant, none of anything else mattered; the drama on social media, the feud between the creator and me, and all of that drama, it just all faded. It didn't matter anymore," she said at the time. "All that matters is that I'm healthy, the baby is healthy, and the relationship with Ken is healthy."
Gypsy added, "It's not about anything other than the tiny little life that's inside you. That you are now in charge of protecting and that little tiny life is a baby, a little tiny human that's yours and that you have to make sure you protect, you love, you take care of, and all of the things that I wish I could have had when I was little."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Talks About Expecting Her First Child
As she nears her due date, Gypsy is reflecting on what responsibilities come with a child and how it may impact her relationship.
"I'm not going to say that I think that a baby will help a marriage or a relationship, because obviously there's the added stress. I know that realistically, there's going to be arguments too," Gypsy told PEOPLE. "But [Ken and I] both come from divorced parents and one thing we absolutely agreed on from day one, even back when we were dating in 2017, is that when we have a child, we will stick together for the long haul."
"This is a forever thing because we don't want our child to grow up in a broken home," she added.
