Jay-Z's Alleged 'Illegitimate Son' Expresses Heartbreak Over Rapper's Response To Rape Lawsuit

Jay-Z's alleged illegitimate son is unhappy with how the rapper has reacted to the rape allegations he is facing.

Rymir Satterthwaite, who claims to be the son of the Roc Nation founder, criticized the rapper for responding to the allegations with "deflection and attacks."

Satterthwaite also expressed frustration over Jay-Z's continued avoidance of the paternity issue, a case that has been pursued since 2010.

In a statement to the Daily Mail, Rymir Satterthwaite gave a scathing reaction to Jay-Z's response to the rape allegations he is facing.

The rapper was recently accused of raping a minor at a party in 2000, an accusation he has described as a "blackmail attempt" by the victim and her lawyer, Tony Buzbee. Jay-Z also commented on how he has always fought to "protect children."

In response, Satterthwaite said it is "both heartbreaking and frustrating" to see Jay-Z address the allegations with "deflection and attacks."

He then intertwined the situation with his own long-running effort to get the Roc Nation founder to agree to his paternity.

Satterhwaite added, "My late mother, Wanda, was just 16 years old when she became pregnant with me, and for years I have sought clarity about my identity. This is not about greed or spectacle—it's about uncovering the truth and ensuring all parties are held accountable."

Since 2010, Satterthwaite has been trying to get Jay-Z to agree to his paternity, a move which has led to several legal showdowns between their lawyers.

However, every case Satterthwaite has brought on the matter has been lost, leaving the 31-year-old with no confirmation about his alleged biological ties to the music mogul.

Satterthwaite, in his response, also slammed Jay-Z for leaving him in this state of uncertainty and urged the rapper to make efforts that would clarify the issue.

"Despite my efforts, Mr. Carter has never once written a letter to me to address these claims – whether to deny or acknowledge paternity or to address why his attorneys committed this fraud," he further remarked.

The 31-year-old concluded, "If Mr. Carter values the ideals of honor and protecting children, as he claims in his letter, he should step forward with transparency. He continues to deflect and avoid. I remain committed to seeking the truth and justice for myself, my mother all those who deserve answers and accountability."

As the matter continues to unfold, a source reportedly explained why Jay-Z responded quickly to the rape accusation, according to the Daily Mail.

The insider claimed that the rapper, allegedly influenced by his wife Beyoncé, wants their family to confront the accusations "head-on."

They also stated that the couple is "working with a crisis specialist" and that the accused rapper has the full support of his daughter, Blue Ivy.

The source shared, "Blue Ivy is well aware of what is going on and is intent on supporting her father in any way she can. She was there in solidarity with her dad and mom."

Despite the Carter family presenting a united front publicly, Jay-Z's connection to embattled rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs has reportedly caused a "strain" on his marriage to the multiple Grammy-winning singer.

Jay-Z and Diddy's friendship is said to have triggered the accusation, as the pair have had close ties since the '90s.

The insider added, "It has been causing a strain on their marriage … [and] they have had many discussions about how it would play out if Jay were to ever be convicted of anything surrounding Diddy."

As part of his defense strategy, Jay-Z recently filed a motion asking the court to compel his accuser to reveal her identity.

In the filing, he claimed that it is only "fair" that the alleged victim does not pursue the case anonymously, given the level of damage that her accusation has done to his "impeccable reputation."

"It is not consistent with justice, fairness, or the rules governing federal proceedings for the Plaintiff and her counsel to smear [Jay-Z] 's good name," read the docs obtained by TMZ.

"Make no mistake this case is about retaliating against the rare target who would not pay," the rapper's filing further read.

The Grammy Award winner further stated that if the court does not grant his request, it should dismiss the rape case against him instead of allowing it to proceed to trial.
