Chelsea Lazkani is pulling all the strings to make her legally single as soon as possible!
The "Selling Sunset" star and her estranged husband are reportedly working out an arrangement to declare them legally single. At the same time, they continue to find common ground per their divorce settlement.
Chelsea Lazkani and Jeff Lazkani both filed for legal dissolution of their union earlier this year amid accusations of domestic abuse by one of the embattled couple.
Chelsea Lazkani And Jeff Lazkani Still Have A Pile Of Obstacles To Sort Out In Their Divorce
The estranged couple set aside their very stark differences to work out a deal that will help legally dissolve their marriage while they iron out the terms of their settlement.
According to legal papers, Chelsea and Jeff executed an agreement on Monday, December 9, that will declare them legally single once a judge signs off. The deal established that the couple has yet to wrap up a deal on property, financial, and other issues.
Per In Touch, the former couple arrived at the conclusion after Jeff asked the court to prevail on the case that has dragged on for nearly seven months without resolution. In his words:
"[Chelsea] and I have not been able to settle our case in the last seven months since this matter began. I would like to move forward with my life and request that this court terminate my marital status."

It took the couple a while to land on the same page per Jeff's request to declare them legally single. As reported by The Blast, Chelsea, through her attorney, Samantha Spector, blamed Jeff's decision for the delay and inability to settle their divorce.
Spector disclosed that Jeff recently chose to retain a new legal counsel, "which has slowed this case down." Her client, Chelsea, also noted that she had no issue with dissolving the marriage, but the documents provided by her ex "do not offer her and the minor children sufficient protection and indemnification."
In his divorce filing, Jeff declared that irreconcilable differences have led to their marriage breakdown, and it has remained evident in their divorce process so far. The realtor also blamed their inability to work together due to individual differences for the failure of their union.

Jeff was fully convinced the sun had set entirely on their journey as a couple. The media expert stated that resolution measures such as counseling or any other assistance by the court can not save the failed marriage.
"Under no circumstances do I believe [Chelsea] and I could resolve our issues and reunify," the 40-year-old insisted in his filing. Then, he told the court they had made zero progress in coming to a definite settlement on the factors surrounding their divorce.
Jeff emphasized that "proceeding to bifurcate status" will significantly "decrease the number of issues that remain" between him and the realtor.
He added that the court doing them a huge favor by terminating their marital status will help streamline their myriads of issues and "help us better focus on our children and dividing our assets."

The real estate mogul requested in her divorce papers that her estranged husband settle her monthly spousal support.
Jeff immediately countered Chelsea's demands and asked that the court award him exclusive use of their Manhattan Beach, California, mansion and dismiss her request for spousal payment.
According to the media expert's attorney, the former couple purchased the Manhattan Beach Property for approximately $2,900,000 during their marriage. The legal rep confirmed they took out a $500,000 mortgage against the property held solely in his client's name.
"[Jeff] has a $2,100,000 million separate property reimbursement claim on the Manhattan Beach Property and estimates the fair market value of the property is approximately $4,200,000," the attorney declared.
Jeff's lawyer added that the media firm owner settles the mortgage, property taxes, and other monthly bills without support from Chelsea.
Chelsea Lazkani's Estranged Husband Cited Domestic Abuse In His Divorce Filing
The media mogul came guns blazing when he moved to end the marriage in April. The Blast gathered from the business owner that one of the reasons behind his desire to leave Chelsea was domestic violence.
Jeff detailed that the TV personality "struck" him "in the face in an aggressive manner," causing his glasses to break and create a small cut on the side of his face.
He added that his estranged wife has been "exhibiting suspicious behavior" and alleged she was responsible for his missing "personal belongings." The missing items reportedly disappeared from their Manhattan Beach, California, home after Chelsea filed for divorce in March.
Jeff claimed that his soon-to-be ex-wife deliberately "provokes" him and "records him in an attempt to catch him overreacting to her." He further insisted that Chelsea had been "physically aggressive" both before and after she filed for divorce.
Will the judge grant Chelsea Lazkani and Jeff Lazkani their desired resolution? That will be determined later today!
