Khloé Kardashian has opened up about her former counselor allegedly breaching doctor-patient privilege amid her divorce from Lamar Odom.
In a new interview, the reality star revealed that she had shared "something private" with her then-therapist, who subsequently leaked the information to a tabloid.
The situation eventually led Khloé Kardashian to stay away from therapy for a long while, as she couldn't trust anybody else anymore.

Speaking with Bustle, Kardashian reflected on her previous experience with therapy and how she was forced to stop due to her therapist's actions.
At the time, she was in the midst of her divorce from Lamar Odom, whom she married in 2009 and separated from in 2013.
Kardashian had sought therapy to work through her mental health struggles, but barely into spending some time, the therapist breached doctor-patient confidentiality by sharing private information with a tabloid.
"I remember I was going to therapy, and the next thing I knew, something private I told my therapist was on a tabloid," she told the outlet.
While she did not disclose what specific information was leaked, she emphasized that it could only have come from her therapist, as they were the only ones who knew the details.
"And I knew that my therapist disclosed this information to a tabloid because there's no way this could have gotten out there," the reality star added.
Khloé Kardashian Turned To The Gym After Her Former Therapist's Betrayal
Having been betrayed by her therapist, Kardashian discontinued the therapy sessions, seemingly to prevent further leakage of her private information.
However, the experience left her traumatized, and she chose to opt out of therapy altogether. As its replacement, she turned to the gym, feeling it would be a safer space for her.
"I stopped going to therapy and started going to the gym," said the mother-of-two. "I needed a release, but I did not trust anybody else anymore. And the place that I felt the safest was the gym."
Kardashian went on to describe the experience as "very jarring and sort of unbelievable" before doubling down on her belief that her therapist divulged her info.
"There's not a chance in the world that it came from anywhere else," the reality star added about the experience.
The Good American Co-founder's Body Transformed After Hitting The Gym
On the upside, years of working out in the gym helped transform Kardashian's body in ways she is still grateful for.
The Good American founder shared, "As a byproduct, my body started changing. I loved the way I felt. I loved testing myself and challenging myself. And I've been doing it for 10-plus years now, and I love it."
Unsurprisingly, the changes in her body have led to compliments as well as the usual conspiracy theories about her going under the knife to achieve the look.
Kardashian added, "Over the past three years, people are like, 'You must have gotten surgery because you just lost weight.' I'm like, 'It's been a 10-year journey! What are you talking about?'"
Khloé Kardashian Isn't Against The Use Of Weight Loss Drugs
Even though Kardashian attributes her stunning figure to an intense workout regimen, the reality TV star isn't against people who undergo surgery or use weight loss drugs, and she feels that judgment against them should not exist.
"But even if people get surgery or [get on] the Ozempic craze, I'm like, 'Who cares!'" Kardashian said.
She added, "As long as people feel good about themselves, who am I to judge? I think it's ridiculous, the judgment on that. I'm just mad [Ozempic] wasn't around 10 years ago."
She Revealed That Her Sister Convinced Her To Try Therapy Again
After several years away from therapy, Kardashian eventually tried a new therapist after her sister gave a recommendation and was "adamant" about her going.
As for how she feels about her new therapist, "The Kardashians" star explained that she finds the new doctor "really lovely."
"I really like her. It's actually Kim's therapist," the Hulu personality added. "Kim was really adamant. I was like, 'I'll do this for you.' I dragged my feet, and then I was like, 'Wow, OK, this is good. I needed this.'"
According to the reality star, the decision to return was the right one, as she soon discovered that she had a lot on her mind to unload.
"My therapist was like, 'I think you should come three days a week.' [Laughs.] She was like, 'You really need to be here,'" Kardashian recalled. "It all worked out."
