The daughter of the country music legend has found herself in legal trouble once again. Kelley was arrested in October in Albemarle County, Virginia, after allegedly stealing a van from a Charlottesville church.

She reportedly remains held without bail at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail as her case unfolds. Kelley now faces seven new charges, including three felony counts of grand larceny tied to the alleged theft.

Officer Corey Legg of Albemarle police obtained a search warrant to review Kelley's medical records to determine if she was under the influence of drugs while driving.

However, according to Daily Progress, no drug-related charges are currently included in the seven new charges against her. Kelley's criminal history spans multiple states, including convictions in Tennessee for methamphetamine production and evading arrest.

She also faces ongoing cases in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, with charges ranging from aggravated assault to probation violations. As reported by the outlet, Kelley's next court date is scheduled for January 2, when the Office of the Public Defender will represent her.

Pastor Kent Hart of Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene said he witnessed his van being driven away from his Scottsville home on October 27. After chasing the vehicle, he confronted Kelley, describing her buzz cut and face tattoos, adding:

"It looked to me like she could have been high like she didn't seem like she was completely in her right mind."

Albemarle officer Corey Legg finally stopped Kelley and determined she was the sole occupant of the damaged van. During her arrest, Legg claims Kelley made disturbing claims about selling her soul and requested commitment to a mental institution.

In his words, "She began stating she had sold her soul to the devil," before noting that subsequent bloodwork reportedly revealed heroin in her system.

Kelley's legal woes continue to pile up, with new charges adding to her troubled history. The 28-year-old was slapped with a bench warrant being issued after she missed the hearing related to her August 3 arrest.

The Blast reported that Grace was spotted riding a green motorcycle with a suspended license, and ignored police orders to stop. Despite lights and sirens, she fled the scene, later facing charges of driving with a suspended license, fleeing an officer, and failing to wear protective gear.

As part of her bench warrant, InTouch noted that a judge stated that Kelley would explain herself before a judge once she was brought into custody.

Kelley is no stranger to legal issues, as she was also arrested in April on charges of soliciting prostitution, indecent exposure, and obstructing government operations.

She was reportedly caught outside a Walmart holding a sign asking for a ride, becoming agitated when questioned by authorities. The police report stated, "When talked to, she became agitated, asking if she was being detained; it was not illegal to trade her body for a ride."

The situation escalated in May when she was seen inappropriately dressed in a revealing skirt and pink bra, exposing herself to the public.

When police attempted to arrest her, the arresting officer explained that Kelley passively resisted, noting, "She sat down on the roadside edge, and refused to cooperate."

Kelley's troubles with the law seem unending. In 2016, she was arrested for carrying meth and sentenced to 30 days in jail, later being mandated to attend a drug recovery program.

The Blast reported that Kelley failed to complete the program, resulting in an eight-year sentence at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary. After being released on parole in November 2019, she faced another setback in August 2021 when she violated probation and was arrested again.

Though Kelley was freed in December 2022, her troubles continued. She was back behind bars in May 2023 for breaking an order of protection and parole violation, eventually securing another release in October.
